So I have yet to find a cold sore medicine that works magic, even though, as those of us with cold sores know, that's what we're looking for. Especially since they always seem to appear at the most inopportune moments. I picked these up, along with the lip balm, last winter when I seem to be especially prone to cold sores. I don't know that the healing time was reduced by much, maybe a day or two at most, but, the sore was definitely not as noticeable and was protected while I did have it, which was fantastic. I was most concerned about the later stages, when it's starting to scab and heal, but I just left it off when I went to bed and applied it in the morning, and I had no problems or tearing of the surrounding skin. Really good product, I will buy it again for sure.

Cold sores are not a huge issue for me, and by that I mean I don't get them too often. The last cold sore I did get was last month and a friend gave me a Cold sore patch to try out. I wore it while I slept and it did seem to speed up the healing process. Cold sores suck so any product that can speed up the process of it going away I would recommend to anyone!

Like all other Polyspoin products this one is just as fabulous, it is fast acting, effective and reasonably priced. highly recommend the healing cold sore patch.

Before I used these I would hide from the world when I got a cold sore! I would feel awful and try anything to get out of school, work etc. It took me about a half a pack to actually get the application just right, and you do have to change the patch every 5 hours or so if out if out in public I find because you are talking, smiling, sipping coffee or whatever and the patches tend to dry and start to show creases, but it's the best thing I have found so far.
Also I usually had a typical out-break lasting just over a week, and these, when applied immediately and if always on, cut my outbreak down by almost half. I apply as soon as i see a blister and keep one on always, I have avoided the weeping blister stage and it heals quite quickly. Overall, a great product in my opinion. And it reduced the pain completely.

Very convenient to apply and carry around for emergencies! Very effective and can be carefree that it is working as you continue on ur day.
