I don't usually get cold sores but my mom regularly does and swears by these! An effective and easy treatment. No more ugly scabs, gooey creams that seep into her mouth, and (most important to her) she can still wear her red lipstick!

'Band-aide solution', well that's what Ploysporin cold sore patch is, a band-aide. Only difference is that it totally works. Ladies ,no worries,you can wear lipstick and not worry about someone seeing the patch because it doesn't show. Finally a cold sore you can actually forget that it's there. instead of being subconscious about your appearance.

I suffer from cold sores and these patches keep it discreet and the speed up the health time, which is bonus.

For lack of any other options, here goes nothing. Anything that can reduce the time I'm afflicted with this particular plague is noteworthy. I have used a prescription medication (Zovirax) in the past, that I doubt is any better than the over the counter remedies available now. Any kind of duration reduction of a cold sore is welcome at any cost! Polysporin is a trusted brand in my house and like most people, I'll try darned near anything to be rid of the excruciating blight on my lip.

used it when I had a bad cold sore just before my wedding. loved that it helped heal while I could add makeup to cover the sore so that I wasn't distracted by the ugly thing on my face while getting ready for my wedding. will definitely buy again!!

I am one that suffers from those ugly cold sores. Over time I have tried many products but none were effective.
