HATED it the first time. Tried it again and now I LOVE them

The first time I tried this product, I HATED it! The skin BELOW my lip, where the patch attached to, became very irritated and the act of removal made it even worse! Removing it also proved to be quite painful, like a band-aid stuck on the wound. Some weeks later, I was getting another cold sore, and I knew it was going to be a doozy. Stress! As I work with the public, I decided it would be better to cover it with the patch, and am so glad I did! I was able to wear lipstick over the patch and kept the skin area below my lip, with as little exposure to the patch as possible. For removal, I soaked the product thoroughly, until it practically slipped off my lip. Great product for when you are in public... It also keeps you from touching it, thus stopping any contamination issues.

Lifesaver!

I used to dread getting cold sores. They would last forever and leave horrid marks. But now, at the first sign of a cold sore - I go straight for my polysporin patch. Not only does it work, but the fact that it's covered all day, I don't even notice it while it works to heal.

Ive tried this product numerous times and everytime i tries it made a small cold sore turn into a major problem. ......the patch seams to trap the disease in enabling it to grow easier and not dry out......if u wanna temporarily conceal yer cold sore only to make it 100% worse for days n days u could try this product ......if u want it to go away buy abreava

It worked but it takes time to place it properly

I liked this product but I had difficulty getting it off the package onto my lip without having a side of it fold onto itself and stick to itself so that one side was obvious on my lip. Wish it had a better application system so that this wouldn't happen. Once in it works great

Very effective

I was eager to try this product I break out often with cold sores and have tried other products and some wouldn't work well but when I to purchase this I ended up loving this product it works great and drys up the cold sore pretty quickly and healed faster then some other products I have used I recommend it

Polysporin Cold Sore Healing Patch

i was so happy to find this product, i get a lot of cold sores specially around my mouth, it looks so ugly and i can't help myself to to touch so it took longer to heal, i put one path on my lip and it stays there for the whole day, even after eating and drinking, i just love itttt

Don't Bother!

I would not recommend using this product, especially if you have sensitive skin! I tried this product and was so disappointed. My cold sore pretty much doubled in size and I needed to go to a walk in clinic because it had become infected. I suppose if you have sensitive skin, this isn't the right product for you!

Worked for me.

I started to use the polysporin when it first came out. The patch is rather big, so I try to cut in half to make it smaller. If you get the patch on before it actually blisters it seems to stop the spreading and it heals faster than any other creams I have tried. I will never use any other product because this does the job for me.
