I used it and it helps cover up the sore not sure if it actually slows the growth of cold sore time down

When I get cold sores, I get them big. I first tried the Polysporin healing patch when I was going to a wedding. It can be a little tricky to apply the first few times. I found that it adhered well and it lasted the whole recommended eight hours of wear. It hid the cold sore and I was able to apply my regular lipstick over top. I am not 100% sure if it actually speeds up the healing time but, it definitely saves a lot of embarrassing stares. I would recommend it. However, I do think it is a little pricey.

I was going to a wedding and had a cold sore...I thought I'd give this a try....I was not impressed! It was not staying in place at all. I thought I could wear gloss over it to help conceal the patch but it made it worse.

My daughter gets cold sores, and this works the best out of all products we've tried. The patch stops her from touching it all the time (she's 9), and it seems to help the sore clear up much faster than Abreva.

I have used this at work once since I work in the medical field it looks bad having a cold sore when dealing with patients, so I decided to try this product it didn't really do much for me, the best remedy for a cold sore is try and pop it and put nail Polish with a q tip it will dry up in less then 2 days!!!!

I'm not a big fan of this product personally and I didn't feel like it helped my cold sores at all. It didn't stick very well to my lips and kept falling off so I had to use so many. For anyone who suffers from cold sores, I know this sounds crazy but my best tip is to put a little Pepto Bismol directly onto the cold sore overnight and it will help to dry your cold sore up. In the morning, I wash it off with warm water and it looks way better and heals it really fast!

These work great! They didn't stick too well to my lip when I had foundation on though. Not sure if that's a flaw with the patch, or my foundation. So I just used them at night after I washed my face. I think it was completely gone in like 3 days and never broke out into a bug nasty scab

I was given a strip from a friend when I had a cold sore start to tingle. This worked fantastic. I love how it was completely covered. It is a little pricey, but when you have a cold sore you are willing to pay money to get rid of it fast. I think it saved me a few days recovery.
