Nothing worse then when you have something important coming up and get a nasty cold sore. I purchased these patches with slot of doubt. But fell in love. It helps get rid of the title associated with cold sores and due to the matte finish almost makes it disappear. Makes me less self conciliatory and easier more comfortable doing my job.

So first, similar to what another Chick has said, this is a product I wish I was unable to review, because that would probably mean I would have never had a cold sore, unfortunately I have had the opportunity and I'm so glad this product is available for this disgusting ailment!
I think the thing I love most about Polysporin Cold Sore Healing Patch is that it hides the disgusting cold sore, that alone is worth the price! I also love that I don't feel as paranoid about what is touching my lip. I can put my head on my pillow, drink from normal utensils and cups, instead of plastic ones (I refuse to take any chances!). As far as effectiveness, I'm actually surprised that Polysporin Cold Sore Healing Patches work so well! Usually my cold sores last over a week but this time it was about 5 or 6 days! I'm very pleased with this result. I found that I only have to change it about every 12 hours. I changed it when I woke up and then later in the evening, and I still have patches to spare.
Before choosing to purchase Polysporin Cold Sore Healing Patch I read reviews from fellow Chicks and now want to address the 2 bigger "complaints" that I noticed. As far as price, I really feel these are reasonably priced, you get what you pay for right? The other thing was removing the patch, although I read the instructions I choose to just use a couple wet Q-Tips to wet the patch which loosens it and it comes right off.
