There's always a tube of polysporin in my first aid kit. I use it for cuts, but not only to avoid infection, but generally to keep the wound moist and keep scaring to a minimum while it's healing. I find scars happen when the scab gets dry and then gets scratched off (accidentally or intentionally because of itchiness). Anyways...always check your tube and when it expires, go out and get another. :-)

I'am using this product right now I cut my finger I cut it pretty deep I applied Polyporin Triple Antibiotic Ointment Formula on my finger it's been a week now and my finger is starting to get better already I also used this product when I had burned my hand a few years ago I had second degree burns on my whole hand I went to the doctor and this is the product that he applied to my hand the first day that I burned my hand it felt like it was on fire after the doctor applied this product and Bandage it up the next day it wasn't even sore anymore I would recommend this product to anyone it's the only one that I use in my household for cuts burns and scrapes this product does what it says it works wonders
