Prevents further infection- that's it

The triple action ointment promotes 1) preventing infection 2) minimizing scarring and 3) speeding up healing.

The ointment did not speed up healing. I would suggest using as a early prevention of further infection as it was highly effective as a topical antibiotic.

I carry this with me in my make-up bag. There is a few kicking around the house as well (including the first aid kit for home and the car). It works amazing and helps heal things up super quicks, from smaller scrapes to larger cuts. If using a band-aid, I would apply it to the band-aid and not the skin so the band-aid still works.

Works great! I have four kids and I absolutely use this on everything. Scrapes, cuts, burns, minor itch,. very effective! kids like it as well as the adults.

I swear by Polysporin. Any time I have a cut or scrape, I use Polysporin and a bandaid over night. By the next morning, the cut is pretty much almost closed (depending on the size of course). Really find that it lives up to its fast-healing claim.

A staple in any first aid kit. I have some in all my first aids kits. in the house, car trailer and at work. You can put it on anything to help it heal faster

Great formula that does not sting upon application and helps speed recovery of any wounds. I always have this in my first aid kit! A little goes a very long way, so one tube lasts ages!

i cut my fingers a lot and i use this and always seems to help the healing go faster!

We use this not only for people but also as a very effective animal treatment... for years we have used it to prevent infection when applying ear tags to lambs... similar to having your ears pierced... but often done in the extreme cold or less than clean conditions... they will get dirt on them in the barn yard... so using the triple action polysporin on the tag helps not only the healing process but also the prevention of infection in the open fresh piercing.

Also makes a really good healing salve for chapped and split fingers, from working in extreme cold and sometimes very wet conditions.
