Don't Like New Formula Change- More sugary

This used to be one of my favourite cereals, until they changed the formula. A large box of this cereal can be found at Costco and it's often on sale at most supermarkets. Honeycomb cereal has recently been reformulated to include a "bigger honey taste." With this came an unfortunate change in texture and colour. The new Honeycombs are a deep yellow and less dense in texture. This new formula tastes more artificial. Honeycombs have lost their wholesome feel, and now fall in line with the taste of other sugary cereals.

Honey Comb cereal! I had actually forgotten about this stuff. We had it in our home as kids and really enjoyed it. I tried it again just recently and found the taste consisted of cardboard. It just didn't have the same appeal as when I was younger. I was pretty disappointed.

I remember as a kid BEGGING my parents for some of this cereal. But on the rare occasions that we did get it, no one would want to eat it. I think that as a kid, I was conditioned so much NOT to like sweet cereals that when I got one, it really wasn't my thing. It would eventually get so stale that only my dad would eat it to get it out of our cupboards.
