It wasn’t my favourite!

I received this bar for free as well and for tasting purposes. I did not like the flavour. Texture is good but I do care a lot about taste and this particular flavour was not a hit. It did gave me energy though but I would not buy this specific one. Quality is good.

I got a free trial of this bar and I really enjoy it as a mid-morning snack. Almonds are great and make this bar one of my two favorites from this company. I will buy these for a recess break when I start back to teaching in the fall.

I wasn't to sure on the whole protein thing but taste proved me wrong.. hard to believe its good for you..i would most likely buy these when im out shopping . Perfect snack anytime.

Classic, Tasty Flavour Combination

POWERBAR PLANT PROTEIN ALMOND, SEA SALT AND DARK CHOCOLATE reminded me of nutritional bars from many other brands, however with the added plant protein, it's an extra edge. Yet because it's such a common flavour I am not sure if I will buy this one in particular.

The plant protein powder does not impact the taste but the nutritional value is improved. I was worried about the gritty taste of plant protein but that was not the case with this product.

Loved the almonds - great new Powerbar

This was my favorite power bar by far of the three samples. I really enjoyed the taste but I found it a bit too crunchy for my liking. If it was a bit chewier in texture I would probably buy this for sure. I like that there were rice puffs and big almond chunks in there and that the bar is more like a granola bar than a typical power bar. There was not the same type of aftertaste either that some protein bars leave in your mouth. I would consider buying this in the future for sure instead of my regular granola bars if they changed the texture.

Chewy & sweet

I enjoyed the Powerbar Plant Protein Bar in the Almond flavour. It reminded me a lot of the nature valley salty and sweet bars, except it has more protein. I like that these bars are made plant protein as opposed to whey. They are a bit too sweet for my liking, which is the only drawback.

subtle but enjoyable flavour

I enjoyed the more subtle flavour of this bar. The high fibre (8g) is impressive. I shared a bar with my vegan friend and she really enjoyed it as well. I'm definitely going to replace my usual snack bar with this product line. I received these bars for free in exchange for an honest review.

A nice flavor combination

I liked this almond, sea salt, and dark chocolate flavored Plant Protein PowerBar more than the other flavors. It has big chunks of chewy almonds, it is not too salty, and the dark chocolate is not overpowering in taste. The ingredients are gluten and soy free, vegan, as well as non-GMO. This 50 gram bar contains 10 grams of protein and 8 grams of fiber which I liked noticing on the nutrition label. I do not like that it contains 10 grams of sugar, however no artificial sweeteners are used in it. It contains pea and rice protein crisps giving the bar a nice texture. I would buy this as an on the go snack.

Too sweet for my liking

I had used this product after my run and it was a bit too sweet. I feel that the syrup or binding agent that holds all the seeds, almonds and protein pieces was too sweet. I didn't taste chucks of sea salts which was a good thing.
I did like crunchiness of the bar. It kind of reminds me of KIND bars but more crunchier.
I do LOVE that it is certified vegan because we really don't need animal byproducts in our granola bars.
I would recommend the brand to my vegan friends but maybe not this flavour.

Tastes good

These taste great, but I would consider them more a chocolate bar then a protein bar due to the high sugar content. More of a treat than a pre/post workout bar.
