great nutritious bar

I really enjoyed eating these bars. I received POWERBAR PLANT PROTEIN ALMOND, SEA SALT AND DARK CHOCOLATE for free from the XY Stuff Club for testing purposes. These bars are sweet with a hint of salty. The have a nice texture and don't get stuck to your teeth or fall apart like other bars. It was a bit on the extra sweet side thought, so this is for someone with a sweet tooth for sure. It's comparable in cost with other bars and has a good amount of protein 10 grams per bar. I recommend this for anyone that enjoys bars as a snack or an after workout bite.

Protein bar treat

Between my husband and I, I feel like I have tried a lot of different protein bars out there and flavour wise this one was delicious. Didn’t have that typical protein bar artificial taste, which I really appreciated. The downside is that these are higher in sugar and therefore would definitely have them as more of a treat and not too frequently because of that. So handy to have out on the go though, as the flavour was great and so much better protein when compared to a typical granola bar. I really enjoyed this flavour combination; lots of almonds in the bar! I recieved this for free to try through the ChickAdvisor Product review club.

Delicious!

I received this power bar to review from Chickadvisor. I love almonds and there are huge chunks in this bar so thumbs up for that. I enjoy the chocolate and sea salt combo, very yummy but definitely doesn't replace a meal. It's a great afternoon pick me up. Could be a little less sweet, but I'm still loving it. I eat half a bar at a time since it feels like a treat. I do feel good about the 10g of protein! I would recommend this bar!

Amazing taste!

Out of the two, this is one has the best taste. Considering the amount of fiber and protein, it is more of a snack and not really enough for post-workout or a morning quick breakfast. Recommend mostly for the taste but not the nutrients.

Delicious Bars!

I like this protein based bars, especially with a touch of butterscotch flavour. I love that I can snack on real almonds instead of manufactured nuts powders. It can help me power up few hours between meals.I wish it can have more dark chocolate less sugar coating. Thank you ChickAdvisor for letting me try this new protein bar.

Amazing tasting

I recieved these bars to try for free and man were they good! I let my fiance try one (she has hated any type of protein bar ive had her try) and she loved it! They may not be as healthy as some other protein bars but they still do the job!

Pleasantly surprised!

What to say about these bars - well, I can definitely say I am now a huge fan of these new flavours, more so than anything else I have ever tried from powerbar. I wanted to save the Cashew Salted Caramel as the second bar so I started off with the Almond Sea Salt first and just so happens I forgot my lunch at home and this bar was my pre-lunch option and quite pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t overly salty or sweet. This definitely hit the spot and held me over for a couple of hours and then had the second bar and my mind was blown with all the great flavours packed in to this bar, this one was slightly on to the sweet side but not overly synthetic in taste and the bitterness of the dark chocolate was covered caramel and sea salt which is such a great combination. The nuts were just a textural bonus. I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants a quick healthy meal replacement on the go!

A Perfect On-The-Go Alternative but Not for Every Day

I recently got to try the Powerbar Plant Protein Almon, Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate bar for free via ChickAdvisor (Iucky me)! I am a very active girl, I work out 6-7 days a week and am relatively careful about what I eat but I also lead a very demanding life and am always looking for convenient, healthy options - especially when it comes to pre-workout snacks.

That said, I've experimented heavily with nearly every protein bar under the sun and have struggled to find one that isn't disgusting or chalky but is still healthy. The chocolate drizzle paired with the crunchy nuts and touch of sea salt make for a wonderful medley of tastes and flavours which are virtually unheard of for a "healthy" protein bar; something I truly enjoyed.

That is the main pro when it comes to these bars, they taste delicious! When it comes to nutritional value, I will be a little harsher with my review. PowerBar Plant Protein Bars are high in protein, but they are also high in fat; fortunately, much of this fat is from the nut content in the bars as opposed to saturated or trans (bad) fats. That said though, the sugar content is a little bit too high to indulge in every day and it lacks the added vitamins and minerals like others in its category.

All in all, I very much enjoyed the bars as a treat that I would probably have once a week or so for a good (and yummy) energy boost when I'm on the go but in moderation!

i would buy this product!!

There are many powerbars out on the market, but I find they taste gross, I was very impressed with how tasty and crispy these bars are. They are packed with goodness and helped give me that extra bit of energy at work. I would highly recommend these bars over the other ones. plus these are vegan

good taste

I received these protein bars from Chickadvisor some days ago; I really like them, they tasted good, I liked the non the non-protein bar taste they have. I would recommend and would buy them myself. The nutrients in it, aka the amount of protein, fiber, vitamins are really good too, overall both flavours were great!
