Ok but not for me

I recieved this bar free from chick advisor to sample and review. My family tried all three flavours and this one was our favour. Although we all thought the bar tasted like bird seed. So not for us.

I ate all of it!

This was my fave! I really liked the dark chocolate and the sea salt really complimented the whole bar in general. It didn't taste like your regular protein bar so yay!

Was pretty good BUT...

There was something in the almond, sea salt & dark chocolate bar that was so crunchy that it felt like it was going to break my teeth!
Taste was good, it kept me full when I needed it to but I also found this was such a large bar. If it could be a bit smaller & a bit less thick, it could almost be perfect...at least for me.

Glorified Chocolate Bar Without The Deliciousness

I was selected to try the POWERBAR PLANT PROTEIN ALMOND, SEA SALT AND DARK CHOCOLATE for free in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions and I was a little disappointed. Almonds are usually my 'go-to' nut in bars so I was really expecting great things for this plant based protein bar. Unfortunately the taste was not great.

The bar tastes a little bland. I am not sure how the bar missed the mark because almonds, dark chocolate and sea salt sounds like a trifecta of greatness for me! The chocolate was hardly noticeable, as was the salt. I like the crunch factor to the bar and that they are not soft and chalky like most protein bars. The body of the bar is almonds, pumpkin seeds, protein crisps and almond butter surrounded by a delicious dark chocolate coating. There are no artificial flavours and the bar is certified vegan and friendly for those with an intolerance to gluten or soy.

The ingredients list combined with the taste would deter me from purchasing this product again or recommending it to my family and friends. At 10g of protein AND 10g of sugar I feel like it is more of a glorified chocolate bar then something I would take to get my protein for the day. The bar is filling which I enjoyed, but it was hard for me to choke down. Even though they work out ti roughly $1.20 per bar, I will not purchase this again.

My family loved the Almond, Sea Salt, & Dark Chocolate Power

My family headed out for a day of dirt biking with your Protein Bars in their backpack for a healthy snack. When they returned home they all said that the bar was a great snack that gave them the fuel to finish up their day at the track.

This is my favourite flavour of the other 3. It had a nice sweet and salty mix.I like that the bars are plant protein as well and I did feel feel for a few hours after eating one bar.

Oh man, let me tell you about these bars that I tried. There were three flavours and they were all really tasty. Typically when I pick a bar I like to find something that doesn't have chocolate, simply because chocolate melts in my pocked, or in my bow case. I was not really excited that I got melted chocolate all of my archery gear. Another issue that I had with these bars was the amount of gas that they gave me, it was pretty impressive. Now I think farts are funny, but I was losing friends up in here. After eating one day for a few days I was so insanely constipated, to the point that my poor back was so sore I couldn't work.

Nice flavor

I really enjoyed the flavor, texture, and variety of ingredients. I would enjoy a bit more of the chocolate flavor, but having said that I would buy this product. I saved my free samples for my mid day coffee break!

Delicious powerbar!!

I have tired many power bars out there and it is hard to find the ones that taste really good that aren't the worst for you! BUT the almond, sea salt and dark chocolate flavour is the bomb and that doesn't have tons of sugar in it! would totally recommend having these in your everyday workout routine diet!

Pretty Good

I received this product for free from Chickadvisor. These bars are great for a snack or to have handy in your purse. I don't really like dark chocolate, but they still tasted good.
