Amazing Taste for a Protein Bar

This is undeniably one of the best protein bars I have ever had. Full of nuts, crunch, texture, and flavour. In fact, I am not even mad it's only half the protein of regular animal protein-based bars because it tastes so much better. That sounds sarcastic, but I mean it. I would definitely purchase these after trying the #GotItFree samples.

The only down side is I can't bring it to my volunteer gig at a school because of the nuts. But again, it's vegan, so I understand.

I definitely see this as a thing I'll eat again as part of my healthy eating routine that supports the muscle growth I am looking for out of my weight training. :)

I'm a fan

Ahh i actually loved this bar! I have a super busy lifestyle and am also a vegetarian and appreciate that this felt like I was actually eating something substantial and nutrient packed with the boost of protein. Its a dense, crunchy bar with a hint of chocolate and lots of seeds! Loved thats it's not the texture of a traditional protein bar which is probably one of the major reasons I would buy these again (aside from the protein advantages of course). Would recommend!

The portion size and nutrition values are what you'd expect of a protein bar. Gives you energy and keeps you full for a good amount of time. Texture is dense, again as expected from a protein bar. Flavour was disappointing. I didn't taste any flavour in particular. Compared to the cashew & salted caramel flavour, this flavour was less sweet, which I appreciate. However, again, there was a bitter after taste. I could understand if that aftertaste tasted like pea or other sources of plant protein, but it didn't. It was just lingering and unpleasant. Packaging is nice, and bar looks appealing, and I understand this isn't meant to be a tasty dessert, but I think there is space for improvement in the taste of this product.

The ingredients went so well together and definitely a great start to the day before a work out definitely will be buying A+ I expecially enjoyed that it's a nice portion nor to big or filling but not to small perfect

Grâce à ChickAdvisor, j'ai pu tester les barres tendres PowerBar protéine aux amandes, sel de mer et chocolat noir. Au premier regard, je n'étais pas certaine. Il y a des morceaux verts partout sur la barre et ça ne me semblait pas très appétissant. En y goûtant, j'ai découvert un gout que je connaissais déjà, mais sans être capable de vraiment déterminer ce que c'était. Je n'ai pas vraiment apprécié le produit malgré ses valeurs nutritives. Le produit laisse un arrière gout désagréable en bouche. Ces barres sont très chères et personnellement, je n'en rachèterais pas, même si elles étaient un prix plus raisonnable.

Delicious and moreish

Most people I know who don’t like protein bars are usually referring to very heavy, chalky protein bars that are hard to eat and not very enjoyable at all. Protein bars like this one are on the opposite end of the scale, being so sweet and tasty that they feel more like a treat. I was really blown away by just how amazing these protein bars taste. These are incredibly sweet and very salty, with plenty of seeds and nuts to make it filling. Each bar does contain 10m grams of sugar and 8% of your daily sodium, which explains the delicious taste, but also contains 10 grams of plant-based protein and 8 grams of fiber, which is a positive. The fat content of these bars is also pretty high, but that comes from the nuts in the bar, so I wouldn’t consider it a negative.

The bars have no artificial sweeteners, but they clearly have plenty of natural sweeteners, as they are very sweet. If you’re looking for a more savoury flavour these will probably be too sweet for your needs, as they really do taste similar to candy bars between the chocolate and the syrup that keeps it all together. Be careful not to snack on them too often, as they are filling and very pleasant to eat, but the sugar and sodium does add up quickly if you have more than one of these a day. I wouldn’t recommend using these as a meal replacement, but they do make for a very filling snack. The texture of the bar is pretty nutty, and you will find yourself munching on seeds and nuts for a while after you’re finished with the bar, but I didn’t dislike that, and found it easy to eat while on the go or working on something else.

Not everybody will love these, they may not be right for those on reduced sugar diet, but for those looking for a sweet treat that's a lot more healthy than a candy bar, or those who want a granola bar that's easier to eat, this will hit the spot. It's also a great option for vegans!

I am so obsessed with this protein bar flavour. It has such a pleasant almond vanilla smell that's not too strong. The bar has a chewy texture, and the taste was sweet and salty but I loved that it wasn't too sweet or salty, it is perfectly balanced and has strong flavours that complement each other nicely. I loved the dark chocolate base and drizzle because it makes this a really nice treat, and the almond had a really nice subtle taste. The great thing about it is that it feels like you're eating a delicious treat but it's packed with nutrients and protein, which makes me feel awesome. This is great for active people and provides a nutritious snack to bring along with you. I'm grateful that I got to try this, it's my absolute favourite protein bar now and I will definitely purchase in the future. #gotitfree

Got my Power Bar Plant Protein almond, sea salt snd dark chocolate. and my husband and i were very impressed by the taste. We would most definitly buy them again

So this is so good I am so happy I got to try this product for free like I can’t believe how actually good this stuff taste. I love how it’s chewing and nutty and what I like is the salty taste it great with the dark chocolate mmm delish, I will be buy this most definitely.
