A decent plant protein option

I found this bar way to chewy and crunchy and found my jaw actually hurt by the time I finished it. I think if the almonds were smaller pieces that may help. I could taste a hint of maple in these and the flavour was quite sweet.

tastes pretty good!

I like the crunchy almonds and the dark chocolate in this bar, they compliment each other nicely. I feel like I am eating a regular granola bar, not one with plant protein as it is not bitter or chalky tasting. I did think it was a little on the sweet side.

Plant Protein Bars With Taste!!

I was one of the lucky Chick Advisors that got to try the New PowerBar Plant Protein Bars - this review is for the Almond, Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate - Firstly the flavor and textures are more like a good quality granola bar - great dark chocolate flavour with almonds speckled throughout - I love that it is high in protein 10 g and no artificial sweeteners were used - I did find it a bit sweet but ate the whole thing - I would definitely purchase this quality product again

Good for workouts and hikes

I took this bar on a long hike along with some fruit. I was sufficiently full and have enough energy to complete my hike. The packaging is also great as it is strong enough to tear every which way, so I could eat half a bar at a time. The bar stayed in tact and did not crumble when I ate the other half. I would definitely recommend for any sport enthusiast.

Great flavour for a protein bar!

I was sent this product from chick advisor to try. It tasted great, not as chewy and chalky as other protein bars I have tried. I would prefer something a little less sweet but this bar makes a great snack!

Sweet and salty

I received this free as part of the product review club. I really enjoyed them overall. My favourite was probably the peanut butter and dark chocolate. This one specifically was good too. It was similar to sweet and salty since it had the sea salt and the chocolate. The bars had a good texture, unlike most protein bars. I think overall they were great for their value and I’ll probably buy them again for grab and gos! I’ve already suggested them to my sister who constantly is looking for good protein bars to eat when working out. I also like that they don’t use artificial sweeteners. 😁✌🏻👌🏻

Pleasantly Surprised!!

So after the salted caramel one being way too salty I was kinda dreading having this one. Sea Salt?!?! I just don’t get this tread but I tried it and it’s nice. Has the sutle sea salt in there with lovely flavours of almonds and chocolate. Very nice.

Sweet, salty, delicious

This PowerBar almond, sea salt and dark chocolate variety was extremely delicious. Normally I would argue against the sea salt/chocolate combination, but this bar makes it work exceptionally well.

The nuts, seeds and grains make this a very healthy bar, and the layer of chocolate is so thin it just lends a taste to each mouthful. A great bar *and* I #gotitfree!!

Nice crunchy bar

I received this plant based protein bar free from XY Stuff. I was pleasantly surprised on how well this bar tasted. Unlike other protein bars, this one had no after taste. The dark chocolate flavour complemented the almond butter nicely. The almonds gave this bar a nice crunch to it. Of the three flavours, this is my favourite.

Yummy

I love the sea salt and nut combo! This is so tasty. And let’s not forget the dark chocolate! Always a huge win! I feel full after eating this. I love the texture of these bars as compared to normal powerbars.
