Sweet, Savory and Satisfying

Thank you ChickAdvisor for send me a sample of the PowerBar Plant Protein Almond Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate. I love, love sweet and savory foods like kettle popcorn something about this hits those exotic notes for me. I also love the whole almond nuts which is rich and kicks the satiety to the curb. I cannot believe this is plant based protein only I thought it would be loaded with whey. I think plant based protein and diets for that matter will lead us into a more sustainable future.

PowerBar Plant Protein Almond, sea salt and dark chocolate bar I’ve received for free to try and share my opinion. This bar is 50 g, has 230 calories, 10 G protein and 22 g carbohydrates. I think it’s not that much protein. But it tastes good, contains whole almonds, pumpkin seeds. If you’re looking for real protein bar I’d recommend you to find something what will has more protein. This bar is just a tasty snack.

Lots of protein

I received three different types of powerbar plant protein bars for free in exchange for my honest review. This almond, sea salt, and dark chocolate was my least favourite flavour out of the three but it was still good. They are very filling bars and I love that there is so much protein and so little sugar per bar. The bar has a great texture and even my children enjoyed them as a snack. I ate it before going to to the gym and it gave me the energy burst I needed.

Tasty Snack

This bar was a great treat. It was tasty and hit the spot. It was just the right size for a snack, not too filling that it interfered with the next meal, but enough to hold me over. It has a great texture - has some crunch to it, but not hard to bite into. It is a good healthy alternative to eating junk as a snack!

Better than most

I received my product review of the power bar plant protein bars in 3 flavours.

I really like a granola bar or protein bar for busy days and was excited to try out these as they are plant based.

The texture was great I like crunchy and slight chew to my bars and there was lots of nuts which I love.
The sweetness was a little overpowering in a noticeable feeling on my tongue and back of throat. It could very well be me as I have cut out a lot of sugars in my diet over the last 6 months and find lots of foods too sweet now.

I felt that these bars were satisfying in the snack department and for when you need something to tie you over.

Great combo of sweet, salty & savoury

I got a free sample pack and got the opportunity to try this protein bar. I like the saltiness from the sea salt and the sweetness from the chocolate and savoury from the almond combination.
I do find it satisfied my hunger crave after a workout but don't find it filling.

I like that it is non gmo, no artificial sweetener which makes me feel good having a snack after work out.

Alright

This protein bar was alright, I like how it has nuts and veggie protein but the flavour wasn’t the best. Lots,of sugar too. The hint of chocolate was nice but I would like even more protein!

Tasty combo of salty and sweet

I really enjoyed the almond, sea salt and dark chocolate combo in this Powerbar plant protein bar. It had a good chewy texture and no aftertaste. Decent amount of fibre and protein to keep me satisfied and filled. A perfect on the go snack.

Would defiantly buy again!

I really liked this bar, the sea salt and dark chocolate were a great complimentary taste, it was like a treat with added protein benefit. My kids who are all bodybuilders loved these bars!!

I #gotitfree as a sample to try. I don't usually like almonds, but they were really good in this bar. The flavors were perfectly balanced out with the sea salt and dark chocolate. I wasn't sure if it would sustain me like my usual protein bar does, so I was surprised that it was actually surprisingly filling. I would very likely buy these for my kids as we go through a lot of protein bars during hockey and soccer season!
