Didn’t like this flavour

I received two of these Pwerbars free to try from Chick Advisor (along with another flavour).

I tried one of these and my husband tried the other. Of course, with most dark chocolate items, a person either likes the bitterness or dislikes it. We disliked it. It was horrible, but just not a flavour we would purchase ourselves. However, it was filling and did give us both energy all morning.

A power bar that tastes great!

This is a delicious and healthy way to get a little boost of energy into your day. I would usually try them out in the morning if I was in a rush to get out the door and didn't have time for breakfast. They would work amazingly well and I noticed that they weren't full of nasty additives or other harmful ingredients. This company obviously tries to meet the interests of their consumers, so of course they offer vegetarian and vegan products. I will definitely be buying these bars!

Dark Chocolate Almond & Sea Salt you betcha!

I got the chance to try the plant protein Powerbar in salted caramel cashew and dark chocolate almond sea salt. Considering these contains all nuts,nut butters and pumpkin seeds it tasted pretty great.

I preferred the dark chocolate almond, & sea salt, flavor most as it really is a delicious balance of sweet and salty. As an avid protein bar consumer I looked at the macros of the bar. With 10g protein and 8g fiber that is great however I would have prefered it a tad bit less sweet. At 10g of sugar it is a little bit higher than I prefer but am impressed that there are no artificial sweeteners in the bar. The Cahew caramel bar was a bit more gritty/seedy in texture and has 1g less fiber.

Considering it is approx $2.40 a bar it is quite reasonable/good value especially since the content of this bar is high in almonds or cashew. It is a nice alternative to whey based protein bars.

Great tasting bar with protein

I was excited to try another product from PowerBar again. This one tasted delicious and I was really pleased that it was all plant protein, vegan, non GMO, and made with no artificial sweeteners. The flavours work really well and I love anything with almond in it. It also filled me up until when I had it as part of a breakfast. The only wish I have for this product is that it contained more protein!

WAY too hard for my jaw and teeth

I am only 30 and my dentist lost it on me about eating these realllly hard bars. NO JOKE.
When I bit into this, my jaw immediately hurt as it was SO HARD to chew! It is a serious jaw workout, and all the various sugars in the ingredients contribute to this.
Unimpressed with the protein; made of pea powder and largely rice things.
I would not buy this - I would make my own version instead or just stick to the kiddie ones.

Sea Salt + Dark Chocolate = Yummy.

Usually normal powerbar will taste like uneatable food. This PowerBar Plant Protein Almond, Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate totally worth trying out, it just taste like a snack than a powerbar. Love the sea salt mix with dark chocolate which are so yummy. The packaging was nice and easy to carry in lunch box for lunch snack. Love it.

HEALTHY TREAT

I was lucky enough to be able to get a free sample of this Power Bar to test. In general, I enjoyed the bar. I found the flavour to be good. Not too salty. However, for my taste, I found it a bit grainey. Too many seeds, that tended to get caught in my teeth. I believe the product is of high quality but, I probably will not purchase this flavour.

Great Protein Bar!

I recieved this power bar for free for review from Chickadvisor and i'm a huge fan of it now. The bar tastes amazing and gives me the protein i need. I also love grabbing one of these for a quick snack!

Deliciously Energetic

The Almond, Sea Salt and Dark Chocolate tasted really good together the infusion of these ingredients made this energy bar taste great and give you an energy boost simultaneously with every bite. The Sea Salt gave it a great taste and contrast with the sweet ingredients.

Would I buy it again???

Would I buy it again??? They are hard to chew on, making my jaw get tired easily. I do taste the sea salt. However, I do get the protein I need for the day.
