Delicious, good value, decent nutritional value

Like the Cashew flavor, this bar is deliciously sweet--but not too sweet--and satiating. The texture has just the right amount of crunchiness and chewiness. I am a bigger fan of cashews than almonds, but this is just personal preference.
It can be difficult to find vegan protein bars at a reasonable price. After comparing prices online, I would rate the value of this one as 4 stars.
As for nutritional value, I only rated it 3.5 stars. Although it does contain a decent amount of protein, more than twice as many calories in this bar are derived from fat than protein. Compared to the Cashew flavor, this bar has slightly more total fat, but less saturated fat. However, the saturated fat content is still high. The fibre content is lower than the sugar content, although slightly higher than the Cashew flavor. Like the Cashew flavor, sugar constitutes the third ingredient by weight. Although "sea salt" is specified within the flavor name itself, the sodium content isn't as high as I would have expected, which is good. 3.5 stars may not seem great but it is higher than I would rate many other protein bars, which are often even higher in sugar than this one.

Definitely try this for yourself!

This was the perfect snack bar for me, exactly what i want in a snack and perfect to take my medicine with, however the product is probably expensive (got 4 bars free as a trial)

Real almonds!

This is the first bar that I have ever had that you can actually see real almonds. Each bite has chocolate and almonds, real pieces of real chocolate. I did not notice any salt, it is fantastic

When I open it, smells as if I'm in the forest!

Smells like a forest (or like spirulina, smell still impregnated in the back after eating it more than 30 minutes ago) and taste like plants/veggies (even thought there are no veggies in it) This plant protein bar smells the best of all the others I have tried from other brands or from the other Power Bar selections. This flavour option is my favorite, and the thin layer of chocolate on the bottom is like the cherry on top of an ice cream, it gives it that extra rewarding taste! Says Sea Salt, but I didn't found it salty, nor it has a crunchy sea salt crunchy rocky style as other products, so to me it was still good the way they mixed the ingredients.

Sweet n salty

I liked it a nice combo of sweetness with the almonds and bitterness with the dark chocolate. Then I loved the sea salt. Tasted very good and was filling.

So good

This was so tasty. It was a perfect combination of almonds, chocolate, and saltiness. Almonds and chocolate are my favourite snack combination. There were lots of almonds! It was as good as eating a chocolate bar, br with half the calories of something comparable in size, and high in nutritional value, such as in iron and protein and fibre.

tastes great

I was really happy with this product. I thought it would not taste great since it uses plant protein but was pleasantly surprised that it had great flavour and crunch. My kids loved it!

I totally loved this flavour of plant based powerbar. Usually I hate dark chocolate because it's bitter but I found this bar to be the opposite with out being overly sweet. It wasn't very salty either. I also enjoyed the crunchy almonds, making the bar less chewy. I love all the healthy ingredients in this bar. I ate mine in the morning on the way to work since I usually skip breakfast and I stayed full for a while. Great price as well

Chunky but good! :)

Usually I do not like energy bars that are chunky, and usually almond bars are a bit chunky as this one was, but I would buy this one because the taste combination is pretty good and it kept me full of energy for like 3 hours, so that is pretty good when it comes to one bar. I am not sure how much I would personally pay for this bar, but if it were a good enough of a deal I may choose this. Very happy to have #gotitfree to try! If you like almonds and chunky energy bars, then this one is definitely for you! Enjoy!
