Ok - worth a try

I received this and the other 2 flavours for free to try out. I like that they are made without any artificial sweeteners and are vegan and gluten free. I do think there is maybe a bit too much added sugar for my taste.

At first I think this bar tastes pretty good and I did enjoy it. It left a really strange aftertaste though which I was not a fan of. I think these are great for if you are on the go and just needed a quick snack or meal replacement. My boyfriend really enjoys these so we most likely would purchase them again.

Delicious!!

This protein bar is great! The salty cashews and dark chocolate are a great mix. Great texture. Very crispy. Try all 3 flavors. You won't be disappointed!

I'd have to say second best out of the 3

As per the title, I liked this one second after the sea salt and almond version. It's still good just a personal preference for me! Compared to other bars, I'd say the taste is better overall but I still get hungry. For some reason protein never really made me full..more of a carbs kinda girl haha. Thank you again chickadvisor for this opportunity!!

My fave of the plant protein bars!

This is hands down my favourite of the three plant protein PowerBars. They did the salted caramel flavour well and you can never go wrong with cashews and dark chocolate. Tasty bar, great chew and good amount of protein. There is some protein-y flavour that you get with most protein bars, but I can live with that. I also love that they used cashew butter in this bar.

I liked it. I am generally not a fan of crunchy bars and prefer softer ones, but this one was pretty tasty. I got this for free from the Chick Advisor box and I like it. I love the concept of chocolate with salt. I wish the taste of the cashew was stronger, maybe have larger cashew pieces?

Just okay

I found the bar to be really hard to eat because it was thick and also quite hard. Would be better if it was more on the chewy side. Taste was okay but I expected more salted caramel in it and didn’t find it even resembled the taste that much. I would eat this out of convenience if I had it on hand and it’s good on the go. Just didn’t do enough for me to make a stample in my pantry.

Delicious snack bar

I tried PowerBar Plant Protein Nourishing Snack Bar Cashew, Salted Caramel & Dark Chocolate. I love the crunchiness of this cashew-forward snack bar. I absolutely love the aroma of this bar; the salted caramel smell is quite prominent. Of the three Plant Protein bars that I tried, this one is my favourite. I appreciate that this bar is high in protein (10 g), has no artificial sweeteners, and is naturally flavoured. I would recommend this snack bar for vegans as it contains pea and rice proteins and/or those looking for a bar with a high amount of protein.

Good bar for on the go.

I was excited to try PowerBar Plant Protein for free through chickadvisor as I have been trying to transition to a more plant based diet. This was my least favourite flavour and I found it left a bit of an odd aftertaste that I didn't notice with the other flavours. I also prefer my bars to be on the less sweet side for a snack.

Good if you like cashews

I was given the chance to try the Powerbar Plant Protein Bar in Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel Cashew in exchange for my honest review. We are a family of cashew lovers. I liked that this bar included caramel with cashews as it allows for a different taste, but I just thought it was too sweet and prefer cashews on their own. The reminded me of caramel puffed rice treats and even though I didn't prefer it, it was a huge hit with my husband. He loved the caramel flavour and of course, we appreciate the pant based protein. We probably will end up repurchasing.

Great product, bad flavor

I was not a fan of this flavor at all! But this product overall is great! It makes for a quick healthy snack with zero guilt.
