You cant go wrong with chocolate and peanut butter!

Chocolate and peanut butter together is heavenly! Now put it together with protein in a bar? Yes please! This was an extremely satisfying and filling bar. I will purchase these again.

Powerbar Plant Protein

I had the opportunity to try PowerBar Plant Protein Dark chocolate and peanut butter. This was my least favourite out of the three I tried, i'm not a big fan of peanut and chocolate but overall it was great. A Little sweet for me but still gives you a good boost.

Stick to another brand

I was not a big fan of the taste of the Powerbar Plant Protein Dark Chocolate and Peanut butter bar -- it was way too sweet for my liking. And while the bar itself promotes healthier eating, it really isn't that much healthier than a regular granola bar -- it's the sugar that does it in.

Best of the 3 options that powerbar protein has

I received the Power Bar Plant protein Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter bar as part of a sampler pack to provide reviews. of the 3 varieties of Power bar plan protein that I received, i liked this one the best. The chocolate and peanut butter combo is my favorite in any form. I usually find protein bars chalky and honestly it is not as chalky as most other bars like it. It is a good size bar and fills the hunger need for a quick mid day snack or after a workout. I am uncertain if I will purchase these in the future as the cost indicated at Costco is higher than I like to spend. ALso, as much as I liked this flavor bar more than the other 2 options, there are still other brands of bars that I prefer much more. I would recommend to my friends and family who are looking for a quick snack or post workout protein bump.

Good but not Great

This flavor would probably be my least favorite out of the 3 bars I was sent to try by this brand. That being said, it still tasted good but it lacked the oomph that the other two bars gave with their distinct combination of dark chocolate and salty nuts.
The nutriiton in this bar, like the other two, is not ideal since it is fairly high in sugar, but I have seen a lot worse nutritional content in other brands of bars claiming to be healthy.

Overall, I think this bar is delicious and would be great in moderation due to its high amount of protein which does not taste as bad as most would expect from a protein bar.

These are too chewy

I couldn't bite into any of these bars, since they are so tough and hard to chew. I got 3 other family members to try it for me instead. They all thought the same thing. Very hard and tough for everyone. They also thought that all the flavours were too sweet.This peanut butter one was the sweetest out of all of them according to my brother. Too much sugar in these. On the upside, I like that they were vegan and had pea protein in them.

Not my fave, but anyone loving PB n' chocolate-Oh sure!

I got to review this product for free through Chick Advisor and Power Bar-thank you! Value is good, packaging great, its portable and affordable. I'm just not a fan of the peanut butter/chocolate combo. My neighbor loved it, though, as I shared! :)

Got a defective batch?

When I bit into this one it's hard and dry? Anyone else have this issue? The other flavours were soft.
Besides that it was still good. Just microwaved it for like 5 seconds. I've had many chocolate peanut butter granola and this one beats it all.

Bad Aftertaste

I like that it's vegan. That's probably the only thing I enjoyed about this protein bar. It didn't taste like peanut butter at all and it had a horrible after taste.

Tasty bar for those who love peanut butter

I am not a huge fan of peanut butter flavoured bars, so I didn't quite enjoy the flavour of this protein bar. However, my dad really liked it and wants to purchase it in the near future for work snacks healthier than the alternative choices of granola bars. I love the initiative that PowerBar has taken to create this new line of plant-based protein bars but wish they would create bars that are lower in carbohydrates and sugar so that people who are more health conscious like me can enjoy them guilt free.
