Satisfy your hunger but not your wallet

PowerBar's plant-protein dark chocolate and peanut butter bar is a nice treat when you are busy and want a healthier type of snack. It has a good amount of protein and fiber. I was hoping for less sugar overall, as still going around the 10 grams per bar is comparable with a lot of other ones on the market. There was no aftertaste, but even with the delicious combo of chocolate and peanut butter, it still tasted quite bland. I would have enjoyed a more chocolate and/or peanut butter flavour.

They would be good to have on-hand, but I cannot justify purchasing these for the price on a regular basis. It's way too expensive, especially when the whole household would be eating them.

I got this plant based power bar to try free in the mail. It is cruelty free which I love first of all. The taste is like a naughty chocolate bar except it's good for you and the animals since it is dairy free! The natural peanut butter taste with the dark chocolate is amazing. No trans fat which is awesome! Healthy and tasty.

Sooooo good

My favorite out of the 3 kinds i tryed and favorite of my family that tried it . Very peanutbuttery and quick and easy to eat . Really enjoyed it. I felt satisfied and full after eating this bar . I like the protein content but again do not like all the carbs

I'm writing this review as I chomp down on this bar, and I have to say out of all three flavors I was sent, I loved this one! I think these bars are very great and effective for a healthy snack before the gym and I will definitely buy them. #gotitfree

Great bars

Peanut butter and chocolate is usually my number one fave but these ones are my least fave of the three new bars. Not terrible, I just think they need more peanut butter flavour. Other than that I really like the taste and texture of the bars; not super soft, right amount of chewiness and they don't fall apart. I'll definitely be purchasing more of these in the future.

Not my fave of the line, but still tasty

I recieved these free from Chick Advisor. I liked this bar, but it wasn't my fave of the three kinds. The peanut butter was a little too sweet for me, but for a quick snack, and compared to most of tge protein bars on the market, this is a good option.

This product works in a pinch, but is not my 1st choice.

Thank you! #gotitfree I got my package yesterday and have tried each flavor and bought more of one flavor this morning- BUT this was not the flavor I bought. The packaging is cute and the ingredients decently healthy, but I am not a huge fan of chocolate and peanut butter together, so that may be the issue. I didn't really enjoy the taste. The ingredients do make this an attractive product, however, as they are healthier. Still quite a bit of sugar. I'd consider this more of a treat, personally. I do know my neighbor LOVED the other one of the same flavor I gave her as she told me first thing this morning! She's a vegetarian, so she was very eager to test this out. I am sure you've gained her as a customer for sure!

My Review:
The packaging looks great until I open my snack bar and then the contents looks even yummy-er! ;) I love the size, its quite bigger than anticipated, the seeds and chocolate go really well together. Its sweet but not that sweet where I'm craving more sugar (sometimes those sweet granola bars make you want to eat more and more - which can lead to unhealthy snacking). I will definitely be purchasing these bars in the future.

Tasty for Chocolate-Peanut-Butter Lovers

I received this product as part of the Chick Advisor Review Panel. This product had a great texture - I typically find protein-infused foods to be grainy or chemical-tasting, but this tasted pretty good. I am not a huge peanut-butter-flavour fan (I know, crazy), but for anyone that is, this would be great. It had just the right balance between the two flavours. I worry that I would not be able to take these to my workplace or school as they aren't nut-free but they'd be great anywhere else.

Crunchy and tasty

I absolutely loved the crunch of these delicious protein bars. They are a great quick snack for when your on the go or an after workout snack. I will be buying these again.
