Great snack for when you want a sweet treat

I tried the PowerBar ProteinPlus chocolate peanut butter and out it to be really rich. It's definitely suited for a sweet treat type of snack. I liked the fact that it is reduced sugar and has higher protein to fit my macros. Not something I would have before or after a workout as it has a really strong taste.

I was so pleased to find out that these protein bars contain low sugar and doesn't taste overly sweet. Great taste and get the job done, also amazing for those on a run days!

I did enjoy this protein bar, smooth texture, not chalky, not too sweet with only 2g of sugar and didn't feel guilty eating it!

I did enjoy this protein bar - however I would definitely buy the lemon poppyseed protein bar over the chocolate peanut butter bar, any day!!

I was so excited to try this ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar Creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter PowerBar that I got for free. After all, two of my favourite things are peanut butter and chocolate. This protein bar did not disappoint.

The taste was great, the size was perfect. By the time I finished the bar I felt full and satisfied. There was a bit of a chalky taste that is typically associated with power bars; however, it was not overpowering whatsoever. I will most likely go buy these bars!

I actually enjoyed the reduced sugar creamy chocolate peanut butter protein-plus powerbar. The texture was good and did not taste "off" like other protein bars sometimes can. There was a nice mix of both peanut butter and chocolate flavours and it kept me feeling full until lunch. I would recommend this to others as it is a healthy alternative to grab on the go.

PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar bars are pretty yummy! At only 2g of sugar, you don't feel guilty about eating these pre or post-workout. The Chocolate Peanut Butter flavour tastes like real PB covered in chocolate. Yum!

PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar Creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter is a great post-work out refuel without the sugar rush that other bars have. And the taste is really like peanut butter and chocolate. The texture is soft but with some chew to it, unlike many protein bars that are like chewing sticky toffee or have a chalk-like consistency. I #gotitfree so I tried it as I normally use protein bars, post work out. This bar is great as it gave me quick energy but not a sugar-spike. There is 24 grams of carbohydrate, 2 grams are sugar, 5 grams are fibre, the rest of the carbs are sugar alcohols, (derived from plant sources,) which have fewer calories and have less effect on blood sugar levels. I have a picky eater in the house so I thought I would also get their opinion. It was a big thumbs up so now I will be having these in the cupboard on a regular basis. I can also see having these in my purse or by the coffee machine for quick snacks or rushed mornings.

I received this product for free, from Chickadvisor, in exchange for my review. The protein content was excellent for the amount of ca loris in the bar. I was also really pleased with the low sugar content and high iron content. I really dug this flavour; it could have easily passed as a chocolate bar! Usually with protein bars, there is that weird after taste. However, I couldn't detect that in this bar.

Not a bad bar. Seems to be a dry taste. Not sure if I would l buy again. I did like but not one of my faves.
Glad I got to give it a try. Good with the energy level.

I enjoyed this bar more than the lemon poppyseed flavour. It helps keep me full before a workout and does not feel very heavy. It is a convenient grab and go snack with lots of protein and not too much sugar. Also, the caloric content is not too high,. Great to keep on hand for those days where you don't have a lot of time.
