tasted pretty good

tasted pretty good and the texture was good as well. The price in store is ridiculous and should be that price for 6 not for 1 and so I likely will not be purchasing this in store, unless it comes way down in price.

Not My Favourite

I am a ChickAdvisor so I received this product to try and review. I was given 2 different flavours of bar to taste test, chocolate peanut butter and lemon poppy seed. I really enjoyed the lemon poppyseed but I was NOT a fan of the Chocolate Peanut Butter. It had a weird chalky texture and taste. I didn't think that the PB was natural tasting at all. It all tasted and felt quite awful and was hard to swallow. I was able to finish the bar but had to drink a fair amount of water just to,get it down. It was a good meal replacement though as I did not not feel hungry for a while after it. I am pretty sure that I would not buy this product in this flavour but would buy in a different flavour.

Not for me!

I did not love the flavour too much, but even worse was the texture! It's got no texture. It's almost just a mushy pressed bar or something. Totally not a fan! It was peanut buttery so that at least made up for the texture issue.

Would not recommend

I was looking forward to a low sugar protein bar, bit these were not good. The taste was very chemical and chalky, hard to eat. Would not buy or recommend.

PowerBar Protein Plus Creamy chocolate helped get me through

I like to keep a bar in my purse for those occasions that I am so hungry, and I hate going through a drive thru. I love the taste of a chocolate bar so when I saw The reduced sugar Creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter bar I thought it would be a perfect snack. Although it did tide me over till it was time to eat dinner. The taste was a little chalky for me and I did not really like the aftertaste it left in my mouth. I am not a huge fan of "power Bars" But It did the trick and that is all i wanted it for. I was on the phone with my mother while i was eating the bar and told her what kind it was and how I hope it will help to keep my hunger at bay... I said i would let her know how it worked out... I did end up telling her it kept me satisfied.

I wouldn't purchase this product

I was expecting this to be delicious. Unfortunately it had a very weird texture and taste. Didn't even taste like peanut butter at all. Everyone has different taste buds though so you may like it but it's a no from me. But all that aside thank you for the opportunity :)

Chalky

The flavors sound great and the size of the bar was well worth the value. However, with the first bite it was like eating a powder consistency and tastes super chalky and dry. I have tried alot of protein bars and this was Def not one I would recommend or buy again. The amount of sugar alcohols in it can lead to a bad stomach.

Not my Fav,

I did not like this bar....although it was a substantial size and not too sweet I did not like the consistency of the bar at all.It was very dry and almost hard to swallow without a coffee or a drink of water.I prefer bars that are much more of a chewy style and not like an old brownie......although I would eat an old brownie before I would eat another one of these.I split the bar with my husband and he thought the same thing about it.....I would not buy them

I really didn't like the taste or texture of these bars.

They are a typical protein bar - odd tasting with a really heavy texture. I'm not a fan and wouldn't buy them myself. Disappointed for sure. #gotitfree #chickadvisor

Dry chalky taste

I had this flavour sent to me to try and I did not love it. I normally go for anything chocolate peanut butter but this was not for me. It was chalky and left a dry feeling in my mouth. Not my favourite at all.
