I was disappointed.

I was really looking forward to trying this protein bar because it contains two of my favourite flavours, chocolate and peanut butter. I did enjoy the chocolate coating on the bar; I think that was probably the best part of the protein bar. I was expecting it to taste like a Reese Peanut Butter Cup, but less sweet. I was disappointed because in my opinion it didn't taste much like peanut butter at all. In addition, I was hoping that it would be slightly crunchy with hopefully peanuts added to it. I don't believe that there were any peanuts contained within this protein bar. It was on sale at Sobeys for $1.99, and honestly if it wasn't on sale I wouldn't have purchased it.

Filling but..

I found that the power protein plus bar " peanut butter" is filling but the taste wasn't that great for me. It has nutrition values that can replace a light meal.

I recommend this product to everyone

Great tasting snack!

PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar Creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter was a great afternoon snack to keep me awake and focused at work! I received this for free as part of ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club.

The bar was really moist and easy to chew, unlike other energy bars. It had a nice Peanut Butter taste and there was even a little crunch inside. Now I don't need to worry about falling asleep at work in the afternoons, as this energy bar gives me a boost and keeps me full until dinner time.

I would definitely repurchase these bars if I can find them in stores at a reasonable price, and recommend it to family and friends!

I got this product from Chickadvisor Product Review for free. It has a soft like bread inside then coated with chocolate. Not a fan of peanut butter, but this one taste good.

Not a fan

I tried the Creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter, and while I enjoyed the bite at first, I found it left a powdery aftertaste in my mouth. I liked the nutritional value of it but given the powder taste I woukdnt get through a whole bar. While it offers good value in terms of pricing, the aftertaste does not make me a fan of it.

I was surprised with how much I enjoyed this bar. The bar is very tasty and has a good texture. I love chocolate and peanut butter and the flavour of this bar was very good. The bar was nice and creamy and not too sweet. Also very low in sugar which is excellent for people trying to reduce they're sugar intake.

This is definitely a product I will be purchasing.

Kept me going

I received this product from the Chickadvisor product review club for free for my honest option.

I keep protein bars in my bedside table for those weekday mornings I don’t have time to make breakfast before leaving for work and those weekend mornings I wake up hungry but don’t want to get out of bed yet.

I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this bar. It was much lighter and softer than I was expecting; kind of like a Three Musketeers Bar. I love chocolate and peanut butter and the flavour of this bar was perfect. The bar was nice and creamy and not too sweet. It kept me going for the morning until lunch time.

This is definitely a product I will keep on hand for when you need a little something to keep you going.

Tons of nutrition packed into each bar!

I was chosen to try out the new power bar protein plus creamy chocolate peanut butter... I have to say it was a little thicker than I expected, but for a reduced sugar protein bar, the taste is quite great! when you hear 20 grams of protein in one bar, you expect to taste just that, but they do a great job of blending the flavours to hide the taste of the protein and nutrition! cant believe how much goodness is packed into each bar!
I will definitely be buying these again, my husband insists!!

Yummy alternative to bland protein bars

This bar was softer than I expected, but it worked with the flavours. While not as sugary as peanut butter cups it has a fluffy almost mashmallow like texture that makes one forget it's a protein bar. I work outdoors everyday and this was a great switch up from my regular protein bars which are high in sugar.
