PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar

I got a chance to try the PowerBar chocolate peanut butter flavour for free courtesy of the product review club. It has listed an average price of 2.99 (for one bar)? which is a bit expensive. If i buy a cliff bar or energy bar i usually wait for it to go on sale for $1. I liked the chocolate peanut butter flavour it was pretty good. It had a bit of a chalky taste but it wasn't too bad. I love that they are reduced sugar and are still able to taste delicious. The bars are also gluten free. I ate them as an afternoon snack before I hit the gym after work and they were very filling and able to curb my appetite until dinner time. I would definitely consider purchasing this bar in the future.

Can't taste the peanut butter

These bars are not worth the cost but I feel that way about most protein bars, The texture is awful, there is nothing you can recognize, it is all ground up together into a cakey bar coated in cheap chocolate. There wasn't enough peanut butter to actually taste it and then there is that awful after taste. The reduced sugar aspect of it is fine, it doesn't need more sweetness, so that's a plus for the #Power Bar Protein Plus reduced Sugar bar. I guess they are effective for a quick on the go snack but I would rather grab something I can recognize instead of a bad tasting bar of mush. #gotitfree, thanks for the opportunity ChickAdvisor

Been eating these since I got them, and I love this flavor a lot. Even with less sugar the taste of the peanut butter with chocolate is very flavorful and doesn't lack any taste.

I am always looking for products with less sugar and great taste. This protein bar achieved that.
The texture was consistent and did not taste chalky. It was moist and hit the spot for a chocolate and peanut butter craving.

I really like the nutritional values for the bar, I am really trying to watch how much sugar I am consuming so as a on the go occasional meal replacement bar I was excited to get it. I didn't find that it had that much flavou but it was easy enough to eat. Would I ever 'crave' it or think about it... no, but it is good enough that you would grab it and eat it. Would I have it again, why not?

I got the chance to try these bars out in chocolate peanutbutter and lemon poppy seed. They are a perfect post workout snack, not to heavy but definatly filling! I loved the peanutbutter flavour, made it feel like I was having a cheat snack when in reality I was feeling my muscles with the protein they need to grow.

Mmm Mmm mmmm- love it

I have received this as part of chickadvisor review group. The peanut butter power bar is so decadent it almost feels like eating a candy bar. It's perfect snack before gym or a busy day. Will definitely purchase again.

It does the job and has a great taste!

I loved eating my Power Bar Creamy chocolate peanut butter. I was out of the house and needed a quick snack between errands. Luckily I had thrown a PowerBar Choc PB in my purse. It has a great taste and texture, kept the hunger pangs away and I knew it was much better for me than grabbing a sandwich!

I received this free for review from Chickadvisor. This chocolate peanut butter bar has a great taste, not too sweet. It defiantly curved my hunger. I read a few reviews that mentioned other having gas after eating, I didn't experience that. I do however prefer the taste/favour of the lemon poppyseed bar over the chocolate peanut butter.

Not Bad

I received two PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar Creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter bars to try out. This bar wasn't bad. It was decent and not too dry/chalky as the other bars that I received and tried (Lemon Poppy Seed). Love that it is high in protein and fibre, and low in sugar. I would recommend this flavour to my family and friends. #gotitfree #chickadvisor
