Very little chocolate + peanut butter flavour

I received the PowerBar ProeinPlus Reduced Sugar Creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter bar as a product review. I normally love anything Chocolate and Peanut Butter but I didnt really enjoy the flavour on this one to me it actually had very little flavour what so ever. The texture was good and it wasnt to sweet but I liked the
Lemon Poppyseed one WAY MORE.

Protein plus reduced sugar power bars wwre great all around. They provided me with energy and stamina during my work out, tasted great and didn't have the aftertaste some protein bars have

I received PowerBar's ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar Creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter for free as part of the Chickadvisor Product Review Club for free in exchange for my honest review.

I so badly wanted to enjoy these! I've been looking for a quick grab and go breakfast that would keep my full so I had high hopes with this one. Another bonus was that they are gluten free and low in sugar.

Unfortunetly I am not a fan. First off the texture of these bars was not enjoyable. I found them to be very dry and chalky / gritty. The chocolate peanut butter was not as bad as the lemon flavour but I still wasn't impressed. this flavour also was not as sweet as the lemon so I did like that.

Another no go for me was how it made me feel. While these are low in sugar they do contain Sugar Alcohol, I found that these made me really gassy later in the day and I think it is from the Sugar Alcohols included. Definitely not a fun feeling.

I do have to say though that they did keep my full. I ate one in the car on my way to work and it did keep me satisifed until my lunch hour. Though I don't know that it was worth the having to force myself to eat it and the tummy problems later in the day.

I won't be eating these bars again.

Got to try this flavour for free, thanks Chick advisor! :) I liked the taste of this protein bar with the reduced sugar. I was truly surprised with how great it tasted.

Creamy Chocolate peanut butter

me and my fiance tried these they are wonderful and low carb with the fiber and sugar alcohols the peanut butter flavor is wonderful. Must admit better than expected!!

I'm always up for trying peanut butter and chocolate. You really cannot go wrong. I really liked that this was reduced sugar since many protein bars are loaded with it. I wish that this version had a dairy-free option, but it was better than the original version of this bar. I would buy again. I received this as part of a sampling opportunity #gotitforfree

I really liked these protein bars. They are tasty, not chalky. Fill you up well and keep you full. Great snack item or pre/post workout fuel. I would consider buying them. I like the reduced sugar.

This has the better taste, and kept me full!

This flavour is a lot better than the lemon poppy seed one in my opinion.
It is still a bit chalky, but has a better taste and the texture is a bit smoother.

I ate it 2 hours before a workout and it really did keep me full until after.
I love that it is low sugar.

I love this power bar. It's chewy, tasty, and a great pick me up when I need it.

I'm a busy mom and always on-the-go. I will admit that there are times I don't think to give myself all the nutritional needs that I require. It's not that I don't want to do that but life gets busy and I forget. I don't always have time to make myself a hamburger or something with a good boost of protein. These bars are great and helps get that into me. It's quick and easy.

I can throw one of these bars into my purse or leave them on the counter and its ready anytime. I need that.

The bar is delicious. I love chocolate and peanut butter combined. It's like heaven!

Definitely will be getting these to keep around for a mommy pick me up.
