PowerBar Protein Plus Reduced Sugar Creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter is a pretty good protein bar of it's kind but it's just not for me.

I liked the flavor of this protein bar. I have tried the Lemon Poppy seed first and didn't like it very much. The Chocolate Peanut Butter is very smooth and creamy. It is soft to chew unlike other protein bars.
The Reduced Sugar feature of this bar is good but didn't work for me at all because of the Sugar alcohol used. Maltitol gave me stomach issues. The bar contains 5g of fibre and 2g of sugar. 20 g of protein which is great and can keep you full for a bit.

I am following a ketogenic diet and this bar kicked me out of ketosis and I had stomach problems for a couple days. I was never this sensitive to sugar alcohol until I tried these bars. So if you are sensitive to Maltitol, stay away from this protein bar. Otherwise, I don't really have any problem with the taste and texture. I think the taste and texture are pretty good. It is not chalky like the Lemon Poppy seed. It is not very sweet either. I think though that it can use some crunch or something. Maybe they should add some bits of chocolate or peanut. The first bite reminded me of the Snicker's Bar.

In the future, I don't think I will buy this product as it turned out it's not for me. I am happy that I was able to try this product for free to review as part of the Product Review Club.

PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar in Creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter is the perfect after workout pick-me-up to replenish my body without all the additional sugar. I got if free. Here are the pros: tastes exactly like it sounds chocolate peanut butter, not too sweet, the amount of nutrients you are getting (ie. iron, protein and fiber). The con is that you can taste the "aspartame" taste in this bar. It is not as strong as other suger free bars out there but something to keep in mind.

These PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar were fantastic. I enjoyed the pieces of lemon inside and the overall taste was perfect. I also liked them because they were not overly sweet.

Wow these are awesome! I am on the road A LOT and I don't always bring a lunch or have time to pull over for a bite. These are were quite satisfying for that 12 to 2 o'clock pick me up munchie time. I am definitely going to be looking for these in the store.

This bar was pretty tasty! Not overly sweet or peanut buttery! A great snack to have after being active or when hunger hits. Perfect for packing in your bag or purse.

PowerBar Protein Plus Reduced Sugar in Creamy Chocolate Peanut Butter was good , just not great.

This was a typical protein bar I found. Although the taste was still good and I enjoyed the soft , creamy texture I didn't find that it stood out as anything special to me. I found that it tasted like a typical protein bar and had that protein powder after taste. I did however enjoy the creamy texture and the softness. I loved that it was a reduced sugar bar so it made me feel better about snacking on it over a regular bar.

I think I would still recommend it to a friend because of the healthy benefits over a regular bar, but if you are looking for amazing this fell a touch short on taste.

I would still purchase this product as I do think it's a great option , especially after a workout. I just don't think I would purchase it as ofter as some of the other brands.

These protein bars are delicious!!!! It is my favorite protein bar and I would definitely buy it again. It is great when working out. I would definitely recommend this product.

I was pleasantly surprised with the first bite into this bar. I've had Cliff and Larabar and they haven't done much for me, these PowerBars I will repurchase. Went I ate this bar I actually felt full, and for a good portion of the day, as you're supposed to. But unlike Cliff bar's which are super sweet and very "mushy" feeling, this is, but not like those ones. It has a nice chocolate coating, not to think or thin and the creamy peanut butter inside isn't overpowering sweet, but nice and almost fluffy. So in the end when I compare this one to a Peanut Butter Cliff bar ,all around Powerbar is better, less sugar, more protein, doesn't feel like I'm eating a treat, keeps me full and makes me feel like I did something good for myself by eating one of these bars.

This protein bar was the best! The initial smell of it makes your mouth water, and it tastes very good! I wish the chocolate was dark chocolate though, the milk chocolate tasted a little too artificial. However the protein bar itself was excellent! It kept me full for quite a while and the peanut butter flavour went perfectly with the texture of the inside. The insides of this protein bar just crumbles into your mouth, and it is so so good!

It's a MUST recommend to everyone! I loved it!

This bar is delicious. The outer chocolate coating is decadent. The peanut butter filling has a nice whipped texture and was very light. It wasn't overly sweet, which was good. It did keep me full for a couple of hours.
