A great choice, if you like this flavour. I really like the nutritional value, the amount of protein, and the low amount of sugar. However, I'm not a huge fan of lemon flavoured snacks. It was ok, but would buy other varieties. Although there is a low sugar content, i also found it very sweet tasting. I received this as a sample #gotitfree. The texture is nice on these, very soft.

I'm sorry to say but i did not enjoy the taste at all.
there was something off about the texture - and the lemon poppyseed flavor did not work well for me.
i wouldn't purchase this product
PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar in Lemon Poppy Seed was a great on-the-go breakfast option for me! Taste wise, these are not bad at all and I love that they provide 20 g of protein per bar. I do wish the fiber content was higher (5 g/bar), but the protein does make up for the lack of fiber in this case. These are sweetened with malitol which is a sugar alcohol which some people with certain fitness goals or health conditions may not be able to tolerate, but on the flip-side - they are gluten free! Overall, not bad at all but I do think there are better options in the same price range in terms of a better nutritional value! #gotitfree
PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar Lemon Poppy Seed: Stick to the real thing.
This was unfortunately one of the most disgusting protein bars I've ever eaten in my life. I could barely finish it and then had to deal with the awful aftertaste. Protein bars aren't the best tasting thing in the world to begin with but this was beyond awful. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy and I'm pretty sure my dog would pass up the chance to eat one of these.
PowerBar Protein Reduced Sugar Lemon Poppy Seed is a light weight healthy snack.
Simple, easy snack. I like that it is an easy, grab-on-the-go snack. I like that it's not messy.
I like to eat this bar to give me an extra boost of energy prior to going to the gym to workout.
This bar has a good mix of healthy ingredients and It tastes good.

I tried the PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar Lemon Poppy Seed at work as a snack and it took pretty much the entire day to get through it. I did not enjoy the taste at all. It was very chalky in texture and I had to drink lots of water to help get it down. I will not be purchasing this flavor in the future.
A fantastic protein bar! While it has the dry texture of standard protein bars (I needed a few sips of water in between bites), the flavour was excellent. It tasted just like lemon poppyseed bars and I really liked how soft the bar was; not hard or crunchy like others tend to be. Very good!
Powerbar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar Lemon Poppy Seed gave me a pick up before dinner when I was wishing it was bedtime already.
Lemon poppyseed is one of my favourite flavour combos, so already i was excited to try this product out. I liked the taste of it, although I'm not a huge fan of sweetners and the taste of them. Aside from that, I thought they were great and would definitely recommend to someone especially if they're watching their sugar intake!
This Power Bar Protein Plus bar in Lemon Poppy Seed Flavour is a delicious way to give yourself a boost!
Containing 3 g of sugar, 20 g of protein and 5 g of fiber, it is smooth, sweet and tasty! It is covered in a white yogurt(?) type of coating. The texture is easy to chew, it almost melts in your mouth. I love the lemon flavour! I find it to be quite sweet.
I think I prefer this flavour over the peanut butter chocolate flavour. It is satisfying but doesn't make me feel overly full.
Thank you Chickadvisor for sending me the bar to try! I recommend it as a meal replacement, a snack after exercise, or when you may be feeling hangry!
I got a free sample of this product in exchange for an honest review. I got to try the chocolate peanut butter flavour along with the lemon poppyseed. I have to say that I enjoyed the lemon poppyseed one. The texture was interesting, I want to say it was almost more like a dense cake-like texture rather than a granola bar, which is more what I was expecting. The flavour was good, I didn't get a huge hit of lemon but you could definitely taste the poppyseeds. They did get stuck in my teeth a bit, but not sure what you can do about that. I would eat it as a snack anytime. At 200 calories for the bar, it is roughly equivalent to a chocolate bar, except it has tons of protein. I'm not sure how much they cost, but I would eat it again for sure!
