I LOVED the PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar Lemon Poppy Seed bar!
I'm a big fan of all things lemon and this surly did not disappoint. I think I can go as for as saying this is THE BEST protein bar I have ever had.
The bar has a delicious fluffy lemon poppy seed center with a thin white chocolate coating. Yum!
This will be my go to protein bar from now on!!!

am a protein bar junkie so I was looking forward to this new bar and it did not disappoint. Lemon poppyseed isn't a common protein bar flavour and I loved the flavor and the protein content even more. I was a little disappointed that the sweetness came from sugar alcohols, but at least it didn't upset my stomach. I will certainly buy this bar again in the future (if it goes on sale).

I like the taste of the lemon favor, I also get a boost from this power bar as a snack or after workout.

I really liked this protein bar! It has a unique flavor, and it isn't one of the usual flavours. I really can appreciate that. It's the perfect amount of sweet, and has a nice consistency to it. It does have the tiniest bit of weird aftertaste, but after the first bite it goes away. I really enjoyed it

I got this bar sent to me with the free product review club. The taste and texture was good, and the size was also quite nice. I didn't think I'd like the lemon poppy seed, but it was actually really good! Sweet and fresh. I enjoy taking them in my lunch to work or having after a workout. Very yummy and satisfying.

I did not know PowerBar was offering reduced sugar protein bars so I was excited when ChickAdvisor sent me a sample. I'm always looking for high protein, low sugar snacks. I have tried PowerBar before and loved it but stopped consuming it because of the high sugar, so I was excited to see that this new bar from PowerBar only has 2g of sugar (although it has sucralose) and 20 g of protein. I would not have normally bought Lemon ooppyseed but it actually tastes like dessert #gotitforfree.

I received Lemon Poppy Seed and Chocolate Peanut Butter bars free from Chick Advisor to review. I tried the Lemon Poppy Seed first.

They look really nice and I had high hopes, especially as I LOVE lemon. Unfortunately I thought the texture was kind of awful. Much softer than I expected and kind of grainy. Maybe it was meant to mimic lemon cake? I also found these much too sweet tasting even with the reduced sugar. Turns out these have sucralose in them which in my opinion also leaves a fairly strange aftertaste. I really wanted to like these but I just didn't.

If you like things that are really sweet you will probably enjoy these more than I did. They are definitely designed for someone who is active at 200 calories per bar. I'm sure they are a great choice for someone who can handle the texture and the sweetness. These are gluten-free which might be a big plus for some people.

A really tasty protein bar which felt like a treat! It was not as rich and lemony as I expected but still enjoyed it. Added calcium is a bonus to this bar as that is an important nutrient. A lot less sugar than most protein bars which is essential for me and 20g per bar which is great.

Overall I thought it had a great texture for a protein bar. It was very smooth. The flavour was delicious, although it was a touch too sweet for me. The flavour is unique for a protein bar! It was filling - the perfect mid afternoon snack!

PowerBar ProteinPlus Reduced Sugar Lemon Poppy Seed really gave me the burst of energy I needed to start my day.They are reduced in sugar but you would never know they are so sweet and delicious.

I really enjoyed this flavor most energy bars are chocolate so this one is a nice change.You can really taste the lemon making it refreshing it really helps fill you up when your on the go.

I always have a super busy day so I usually always have a power bar in my purse.i have tried many different kinds and many I have tried are terrible.Lacking flavour and just not enjoyable.

I really enjoyed the taste of the lemon in this bar and found the sweetness to be the perfect balance.I will definitely purchase this flavour again and highly recommend it to anyone.
