I’m giving this product 3 stars out of five, but only because this is really two items, the cushion for your back and the pillow for your neck, and while the cushion is 5 stars, the pillow is 1 star.

Before I explain my issues with the pillow, let me lay out some basic details: the material that both these products are made out of is comfortable on your skin, very malleable, and the inner section is very similar to memory foam, allowing you to sink into it a bit and wrapping around you for maximum comfort. The cushion in particular felt great on my lower back and offered fantastic support, and every time I got out of the car the cushion would slowly spring back to shape.

The cushion works fantastically well and I really love it. But it’s held back by the fact that without the pillow, it’s very difficult to use either piece. The cushion for your back pushes your whole body forward on the seat, and if you don’t use the pillow, your head is now quite far from the headrest. The problem with the pillow itself is that it’s just way too thick! It’s malleable as well, but not nearly as much as the cushion, and even when trying to squish it smaller it would very quickly return to its normal shape and size. This caused the pillow to press my head and neck in a way that felt very uncomfortable after even a few minutes.

The pillow itself was comfortable, but the pressure of it on my head and neck were too much to bear for even a short drive. I would not use the pillow under any circumstances, though the cushion itself is useful enough to keep on its own, even if you won’t be able to rest against your car seat’s headrest.
