I received two Pemama Prenatal Vitamin rink mix samples from Premama's website. I appreciated the chance to try out their product for free, as I'm very glad I didn't put any money towards it. Maybe other mom's experiences will be different, but for me it caused me immediate nausea and vomiting.

I'm not going to bother trying my second sample, but the one I did try is the Essentials + DHA. It's a yellow powder/crystal that you mix into 12 oz of water. It smells lemony and the first taste reminds me a bit of Sunny D, but if Sunny D had an absolutely horrible after taste. It's funny how the box says it soothes morning sickness. It most definitely brought mine on, since I was feeling perfectly fine before then.

I will definitely continue swallowing my horse pills instead of drinking my prenatal vitamin. Maybe another company can manage to make a product that is more palatable and won't make me throw up. Until then, I do not recommend Premama's prenatal vitamin drink mixes.
