Vanilla Protein Shake

I enjoyed this protein shake, but found it very sweet. It was already prepared in a convenient on-the-go package which was easy to open and use. The flavour wasn't chalky, but really sweet. It was smooth and sweetly delicious. I didn't feel overly full when I drank it, but it was definitely a great alternative to some other shakes that I have tried. I was able to try this for free for my honest review. #gotitfree

A great snack for a busy day at work

I received a free sample of Premier Protein Vanilla Shake from Chick Advisor.
I'm not really a fan of protein drinks but had heard good things about this one from a couple friends.
I wasn't a fan of the smell of the drink but once I took the first sip, I was surprised at just how great it tasted. It reminded me a bit of vanilla soft serve ice cream. The texture was so smooth as well. I'm used to protein shakes being gritty and chalky but these were perfectly smooth. To give it a little more pizzaz, I had some sugar free pumpkin caramel syrup at home. I added a shot to my Premier Protein Vanilla Shake and it was so delicious! Made it taste like a decadent milk shake from my local diner.
I found that the shakes were great to have at work in the office with me. When the 3pm slump hit, I drank one and it kept me going through until dinner time. The best part is that they fit in well with my weight loss plan as they're so low in sugar (1g) and very high in protein (30g).
I enjoyed the Premier Protein Vanilla Shakes so much that I went out and bought a case of them on the weekend. I highly recommend these!

Fills you up and tastes yummy!

I received this product for free to review through the product review club. I liked the vanilla much more than the chocolate, I have to say. It only has 1 gram of sugar, which I love, but still tastes sweet enough to be enjoyable. It filled me up more than I expected, after having for breakfast I wasn't hungry until lunch time, which amazed me for just drinking a shake! I probably won't buy this in the future simply because I was hoping to use it to replace the bars I buy - when I'm out all day and need a protein boost between an early lunch and late supper - which I can't because it needs to be refrigerated, however I do recommend it because it's a tasty and filling protein boost! I would imagine the vanilla especially would also be good in recipes but I didn't try that.

Le goût de ce breuvage à la vanille est juste ok. Par contre, il est parfait pour les repas à la sauvette car il rassasie parfaitement et soutient jusqu'au prochain repas. Aussi, il est parfait pour ajouter les protéines à un repas faibles en ces dernières.

I received Premier Protein's Vanilla Shake from ChickAdvisor complimentary for review/testing purposes but all opinions are my own.

I always love trying new protein shakes, especially ones that are already made so I can grab when I'm in a real time crunch. I was expecting the Vanilla shakes to be a lot chalkier but to my surprise it was very smooth.

You really can't beat 160 calories, 30 grams of Protein, and 1 gram of sugar either - I'll definitely be picking up a box of these to stock my fridge with!

Trop sucré!!

Je n'ai malheureusement pas aimé le goût de ce shake. Trop sucré à mon goût pourtant en regardant les valeurs nutritives j'ai été surprise du peu de sucre que contient le produit...

Breakfast on the go, but sticks in my throat

I tried this item for free through chickadvisor (#gotitfree) I liked how convenient it was and that it didn't have the same powdery/vitaminy taste I come to expect from protein and other nutritional shakes. I did find however this if I drank this too early in the morning it made me cough as the product hung around in my throat area, a phenomenon I didn't experience with the chocolate variety of this product.

Aftertaste

I really, really wanted to like this product! I’ve used the Vegan powdered protein shakes and loved them. This vanilla flavour all on its own had an unpleasant aftertaste. If mixed with fruit, it can be reduced.

The shake was smooth and definitely kept me from feeling hungry two hours after I’d consumed it. I just couldn’t get past the after taste.

Le produit est remplies de vitamines et de protéines, idéale pour faire des smoothies de bonnes qualités. J'ai eu la boisson gratuitement et il y a plusieurs options pour faire des smoothies variés avec la saveur vanille. Mon préféré est celui-ci: concombre, mangue, coriandre, yogourt grec vanille, miel et le Premier protein saveur à la vanille.

Great in a smoothie

I tried this product as is and wasn’t too keen on the taste so the next time I put it in the blender with some frozen berries and it was delicious just like a milkshake
