What a Ripoff!
Open the box and the cracker sleeves, that used to fill the entire box are now about 1.5" shorter than the box (that's called deceit and environmentally wasteful packaging!) Add that the actual size of the cracker is now also smaller so that the sleeves 'rattle' around in the box, rather than fit tightly. Basically what you get is a huge price increase (far more than inflation rates) and to add insult to injury you also get less product. But hey! They still give you the same amount of packaging! Guess we're supposed to be happy for that.
Christie - you no longer make good cookies or anything else! Good-bye!
Mondelez International
Mondelez International Bought out Christie and now have Absolutely Destroyed a treasure of a product.
Disgusting how this corporation is allowed to monopolize the industry, buy out everyone, leave the Christie name on and pretend they didn’t close down some of the Canadian manufacturing plants.
Boycott these other products they now own-Cadbury, Oreo, Christie and Maynards Oreo, belVita and LU biscuits; Cadbury Dairy Milk, Milka and Toblerone chocolate; Sour Patch Kids candy and Trident gum. As well as Chipita, a Greek company whose croissants and baked snacks.
Mondelez International, Inc. is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of snack food and beverage products, which include biscuits such as cookies, crackers and salted snacks; chocolate; gum and candy; coffee and powdered beverages; and various cheese and grocery products. It operates in five segments: Asia Pacific; Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa; Europe; Latin America and North America. The company has changed its name from Kraft Foods, Inc. to Mondelez International, Inc. following a spin-off of its North American grocery business to Kraft Foods Group, Inc. on October 1, 2012. Mondelez International was founded by James Lewis Kraft in 1903 and is headquartered in Deerfield, IL.“
Good crackers!
I like these crackers, they are perfect for soups or to eat them with tuna, cream cheese, etc.
Crunchy, not too salty and the best part, affordable. I usually have a box in my pantry at all times.
Only premium plus for me
I will only buy the Premium plus crackers no matter the price. The reason is I find them thicker and they break less often. No name brands half the time when you open them are all broken up. I prefer my crackers with peanut butter on them for a light night snack.
Cracker
These are my absolute favorite crackers! They’re good as a go to snack with tuna, for when you’re not feeling well, a side to soup etc. this is a huge staple in our home. It does taste similar to the no name brand but I’m used to these ones so I stick to purchasing it when we run low.
