I wouldn't call this lightweight as advertised, but that small fact doesn't take away from the fact that this coverlet looks great, fits beautifully on my bed and gives a crisp, clean look to my room. It's very sturdy, in fact I washed before putting it on my bed and it took two complete dryer cycles to finish. Many coverlets, especially white, can look kinda grandmotherly, but this one is perfect for a more masculine or even neutral & contemporary look. I'm very happy with this.
