I’ve love the Prey novels by John Sandford since I picked the first book up at the book bin for $2 years ago. Yes it was a used old copy, but the story just grabbed me and took me away from the first page. The whole Prey series revolves around this very smart, cute detective that is always falling into bed with one woman, or another as each murder mystery unfolds through the pages. I was hooked after reading the first Prey book I bought, but at that time I hadn’t realized the book I was reading was part of a series of Prey books. I had bought the third book in the series at the time, when I was done it that’s when I found out there was ten more books by him about this cute detective. So I went back to the book bin to find some more Prey books and have bin buying them as the come out ever since. That was at least ten years ago and there are a total of twenty-one Prey books out in paper back now and a new one comes out each year. Like I said each book grabs you right from the start and doesn’t let you go as you fallow this cute sexy detective try to find out whose committing all of these really crazy even sickening murders across Minneapolis. John Sandford has created some really memorable killers in his Prey series, some psychopaths, sociopaths, deviants and even a professional hit woman that has tried to kill his detective Lucas Davenport. If you like fast reads and like murder mystery’s then give John Sandfords Prey series a try, I know you won’t be disappointed in any of the books. Everyone that I have told about them and that has tried one has bin hooked on them just like me. If you go to the web site you can read a bit of each Prey book and look over some of the other books John Sandford has written over the years. Each new book will cost around ten dollars, but like I said you can buy them used at the book bin for a lot less depending on the condition the book is in. They’re a great read if you enjoy this kind of a book!!
