Shut off your phone, brew a cup of Earl Grey and shut out the world, you are about to enter 6 hours of pure Austen decadence it's the 1995 BBC production of Pride & Prejudice. I have seen this production many times and I fall in love with it all over again every time. Colin Forth and Jennifer Ehle are delightful and truly deserving of all the accolades they received for this mini series. The shooting locations are authentic and stunning and the remaining cast stupendous.

THis 1995 full length movie encompasses many more of Jane Austen's P&P;scenes, endearing it to a wide audience. Classic novel about the prejudice that occurred between the 19th century classes and the pride which would keep lovers apart.

Colin Firth's appeal can't be denied. Definitely adding to the romantic element.
Wickham is an excellent scoundrel. Rev Collins a pain.
Mr Bennet appears more elderly than I imagined him to be, but he does have the rapport with Lizzie as expected from reading the book
Locations are fantastic additions to my imagination, increasing my desire to return to England...
Costuming attractive.
On and on. It's a delight.
