I love the proactive solution kit! The spot treatment always calms my breakouts and I use the toner everyday and I love how the cleanser also is exfoliating

I used this system for about 2 years. When I first started using it my skin became dry and red so I cut back to using it every other day as instructed and that helped. The Benzoyl Peroxide can be harsh on sensitive skin at first. Once I was able to use it every day I saw a huge improvement, in about 2-3 weeks my skin was much clearer than it had ever been. It can bleach towels and clothing as the warnings state. After the two years I just found that my skin became tolerant to it and it wasn't working anymore, it can also be costly so I stopped using it. I do think it is worth a shot if you are considering this system.

I used Proactiv back in high school, at the time my skin was full of breakouts to the point I gave myself bangs to hide the blemishes. Proactiv caused my skin to breakout even more once I started using it, but after sticking to it and using it as required my skin started to clear up within a few weeks. Now my skin is completely clear with the odd breakout now and then. I recommend this product just be advised that it could make it worse before it gets better, but it works.

This product worked very well for me on the first try, maybe my skin got use to the products because
It didn't work as well for me on my second try.

I've tried this line and found it didn't work for me. I have very sensitive skin and after using this product found my skin to get worse. Had to stop after a week. I know lots of people that it has worked for, wish I was one of them.

If you buy proactiv you need to see which products work for you. You do not have to use every product in the line! It can be very drying if you do so. I have found that the daily cleanser and the scrub work very well for me but I use the scrub every other day to keep my skin exfoliated. It is like the only product I have found that actually keeps my acne under control. As for the ph level of your skin. . .after washing, apply your choice of toner which will balance fhe ph levels of your skin back out. After toner dries, apply your choice of non comodegenic moisturizer preferably for sensitive skin as tgis will be less irritating.
Whether or not proactiv works for you is really dependent upon your type of acne and how much effort you put in to finding out which of the products in its line works best for you. It is a hit or miss for some. I would definitely recommend this product though.

I never had acne in high school. After having two children, I have crazy hormonal and oily skin. Now I battle bad t-zone acne and breakouts. I have tried a lot of home remedies & products before I tried this set. The rest never worked for me. I have read a lot of negative reviews on the product. Despite all of them, i gave the system a shot, and am still continuing with the product!

Theres things I LOVE, and things that I dislike.

LOVE: with consistent use, it clears my skin up well
Dislike: If I stop using it, i break out within a few days because my skin is still so oily sometimes.

LOVE: how soft & smooth it makes my skin feel
Dislike: The sizes of the product bottles, for $60 at an as seen on TV showcase store... not sure the price is very good if you want to continue to use the system. They say that you have a 3 month supply for $60... works out to $20 a month. For me I seemed to have to wash my face twice a day. For some people this may be okay... for me the bottles seem a little small.

I definitely recommend this product. But because of it's quality, not it's price & product size value.
I personally love the results I have gotten from this product. I will continue to use it unless i find something that works faster & cheaper price!

This is the best face cleaning product I have ever used! I think people need to keep in mind that not every system will work the same for everyone. I will say that this is an expensive system, although I think it is worth every penny for beautiful skin.

This set did really work for me! I had really bad acne, and I wanted it gone before my wedding last summer! So I picked this up in Edmonton and started using it. Before I knew it my acne was disappearing! However, I did find that it dried out my face... and I found for some reason (thankfully after my wedding!) this started to be less effective... so of course I moved on trying to find the next cure, but this is something I would definitely be tempted to go back to! Also now they have a new proactiv system that I wouldn't mind trying :)

If you do the entire process this product works extremly well. If I get any blemishes I use this product and within a day it is gone. I would use this product more if it was better priced. I would also use more of the line if I could afford the luxury of it. For the price you pay I would have expected larger quantity of the product. If you are on the last straw of finding a product that actually does what it claims, than this product is definately worth it.
