A few years back I had purchased Proactive, I was more then excited to try it out. I started my daily routine, then I noticed how my skin became sore, and itchy. I was using it for my face, neck and chest. I almost clawed my chest neck and jawline raw from this product. I thought I may be using it too much (2 times a day), so I cut back to once per day, same there. I also tried each one of the products alone for a day or two at a time and continued to have the issue. When I contacted the company they insisted it was not from their product. I was very unhappy the product made my breaks worse and caused such issues.

No, never will buy this again. Didn't do at all what the commercials says it does after using it for 3 months. over priced if you ask me.

I bought this product and was very unsatisfied. Left me with more acne then I originally had. You cant just stop using this product as it will leave you right back where you started ;( Never will use this again.

Horrible! I don't even have acne and the few minor breakouts I get weren't affected at all by proactive! I was told that I just needed to stick with the regime but I used up my proactive products and honestly saw no difference. It's a total rip off. The only thing I would recommend is the proactive spot treatment. That really helped, even though it was kind of stinky. I didn't even bother with that after the little bottle finished though. Other products work just as well. Not sure why proactive has such a wonderful reputation.

Dono if theres something wrong with my face, lol but this did zero for my zits. I dont have the worst acne at all, I have ones that come and go and it did nothing for any of those lil friends.

I did as it said, used all products it provided and even kept doing it for a couple months just wasting my money away, nothing!

So no, I do not recommend.

THis left my face with so many scars! When I contacted pro activ they sold me a skin lightening lotion! So not only did I have scars that took months to fade away with their other overriced lotion, I had to buy even MORE! RIP OFF! This si one product eithher works 150% or RUINS YOUR FACE as it did with mine!

I don't have terrible skin, but I have a few pimples that show up, as I have combination skin.
I bought this a few years ago and found it very harsh. The smell is okay, but the active ingredients were very strong. I used the entire line once in the morning and once in the evening.

My skin was dried out after second time. I had a terrible break out after I used it and had to see a skin specialist because an entire layer of skin was peeling on a daily basis. It took me 3 weeks to stop the skin from peeling on a daily basis and 2 months to bring my skin back to (an almost) normal state.

It works for a couple of people I know, it didn't change the appearance of one other friend and when I got my hands on it, my skin went the opposite direction. I actually had full on acne for two months. I was very insecure about going out for two months. It was brutal... be careful with this product. I wasn't allergic, because I use their active ingredients in my other products, but it had a high percentage of it in Proactive.

If you buy it, use it once every 2-3 days to see if it's too strong for your skin or find something that doesn't have as much benzoyl peroxide first.
