It was good while it worked

I had been using this kit faithfully for about 6 years and it was great at keeping my face clear. But into my 7th year I noticed it stopped working and in fact I started getting really large painful pus-producing bumps which I never got before. I stopped using the product for a while to see if perhaps it was something else but as soon as I started up again, within days, the bumps appeared. Shelved it completely

Had really high hopes for this. Called the company and informed them that I have sensitize skin. They told me that this product was perfect for me. Tried it on and my skin was completely burnt and was breaking out even more. Started using it less often like they told me to. Unfortuanly the problem contiued persisting for months. Perhaps this is a good product if you dont have sensitive skin

I got this Proactive kit as a gift. They claim it will get rid of all your acne, but I think you must have to apply it to your face religiously. You need to do the toner, wash and blemish cream everyday for it to have an effect. Now I just use the blemish cream after a shower. It tends to keep my skin from breaking out. It is worth it for mild acne.

This product is amazing. After many failed attempts with other similar products, I found love. Proactiv completely changed the way I feel. It totally cleared up my acne and left my skin feeling and looking healthy. You gotta try this.

I have had bad acne my whole life, I have tied everything to help get rid of it, but this product I must say when I bought it for myself didn't help me much at all. Although It left my skin feeling very soft afterwards it has never made a difference with clearing up my skin

I tried this product a few years ago and i found that it worked well; although I did find that it dried out my skin. I think the kit is reasonably priced.

I currently use proactive. I have very sensitive skin that goes oily in the winter with breakouts in the summer. Most issues with facial cleansing products is using them properly or in proper order. With proactive you are presented with every product you will need and a guide for what to use when and how to use it. I have found this product does work, however the treatment does sting my sensitive skin.

I used this for years but just couldn't stand how sensitive it made my skin. I still love and would use the mask though.

This is a great product. You just have to get into the routine. It is better that their older products that I used many years ago.

This product worked alright for me, but its not for everyone. I find its a very strong product which defanitly gives your face a deep clean. The problem is its so strong it sometimes dries out your skin. If you have sensitive skin I would not recommend this product. I read on here that people are saying they broke out from proactive. I kind of agree with this. When I first used this, I broke out even more then I usually do. But after a week of using it, it turned out to be the opposite. I realized you have to use it for a while for the full benefits to work. Overall it defanitly does what its meant to do. I'm not sure if I will be purchasing it again in the future. Its a bit too strong for my sensitive skin and is also a bit pricey, but I would recommend to people who are looking for a deep clean.
