Buy for the doll and NOT the experiment

If you’ve never seen an Ember doll in person she is stunning. She actually has eyelashes and her eyes are just beautiful. If you’ve never bought an Mc2 doll be aware that you are buying the doll and not the experiment. This is my daughter’s 3rd doll in this line and it’s frustrating that the box never comes with what you need for the experiment. For this doll you would need school glue AND something pretty like glitter. Unfortunately it does not come with the pretty flowers on the box to use. It just comes with the mold itself and clips to clip the experiment result into to make clip on earrings for the child and NOT the doll. The mold is wings but you would have to cut it up and fold it to make earrings. Unfortunately our glue is still tacky and not dry 4 days later when the instructions say it should only take a day or two. As long as you know that going in you’re fine. The dolls are great so buy for the dolls and then it won’t matter to you if the experiment is a bust or if you ignore it all together.

Also the mask does not stay on and the dress is prone to slipping off. For some reason the straps keep sliding off and the Velcro on the back is not the best as it does not close all the way. I know that sounds like a lot of negatives but it’s her second Ember and she loves this doll. This Ember has purple hair and removable clear plastic wings. The dress is pretty but we don’t like the odd looking socks so my daughter took them. We prefer the other Ember with the cowboy boots as the better shoe option. The limbs can come off so be aware of that during play. Again the doll is striking and her outfit is pretty and my daughter never gets tired of her Embers.
