Less effective on my grey hair

My hair is naturally greying but has some yellowish tinges I was hoping this shampoo would help remove. It goes lovely and blue when applied, but I noticed little change once rinsed out.

Strong Smell

I’m noticing some reduction in the brass ones of my hair, so I love that about this product. However, my hair has had a strong chemical smell since using it, kinda like I just had my hair dyed. It can be a bit overwhelming at times.

Smells nice but that’s all

I bought this product in the hope it would make my hair less brassy but it has made no improvement whatsoever. I did find that after washing my hair and even putting loads of conditioner in my hair was near impossible to brush, it was like a big matted mess.
The only positive thing about this shampoo is that it smells nice. Other than that I would not buy it again.

Really effective colour booster

This is one of the original purple shampoos which has been kn the shelves long before the other products arrived.
It works really well by brightening the blinds and removing any brassy blond.
It has continued to keep my hair colour fresh with frying it out and has always remained a good price.

Takes out the Brassiness

I am a DIY blonde. This means, that my hair gets brassy. I have tried many purple shampoos and recently found this one at Marshalls for a great deal and decided to try it out.

First, I love the smell. Second, for the price, it does it's job well.

The only downfall is that it is in quite a small container and therefore, the product won't last long if you are someone who constantly uses purple shampoo.

However, it is effective and a great product.

Gets rid of brassiness as well as salon toning!

This is my most important beauty product as a natural blonde/grey who tends to get brassy. This shampoo is best used four times a week and left on for 5+ minutes in the shower before rinsing. Gives a lovely silvery toning to hair that is as good as the half-hour salon treatments with developer. The shampoo doesn't dry your hair like some of the blue shampoos and I find it can be used with virtually any conditioner without losing its effectiveness.
