I purchased a Pur Minerals starter kit at Shoppers Drug Mart in Porcelain. The price for the kit was slightly expensive in my opinion ($34 tax), however, this product has a lot of positive qualities:

1 - Foundation powder provides excellent coverage. I would definitely recommend shaking off your brush, however, before you apply the product so that your face does not look too powdered.
2 - Blush and bronzing powder add a nice warmth to the face.
3 - The brush in the kit is a nice, dense brush that provides an even, concentrated application.
4 - Best of all, no yucky/damaging chemicals.

The pur minerals are light weight and you forget your even wearing them. i find that they blend well and you dont have that cover-up line on the side of your face that you get when your make-up isn't bleneded well. i also like how it hides all those blemishes you don't want anyone seeing. It gives you the full coverage you want or if you only want a alittle for just one spot it'll do the job.

I have in the last year started to use Pur Mineral products. I started with the "starter kit"..and I've been hooked since. I really like the foundation and using a brush for this is new for me. It doesn't feel heavy or chalky on my face, it doesn't look like I'm wearing foundation with the tell tale line around the jaw. Their website is very helpful with videos showing you how to properly apply the products. The price is more than I used to pay for a foundation but it does last for a long time I find. This product is not tested on animals and is not full of alot of chemicals that may be in other products. Not all pharmacies or stores carry it but it can be ordered online (often have specials) and delivery time is very reasonable. I currently use quite a few products from this company and I'm more than pleased.

Love it! Love it! Love it!... i jsut recently started using this product and have fallen in love with it. I have very sensitive skin and flush really easily. This covers the redness easily and keeps it covered for a long time. It is fairly pricy.. however it is worth ever penny. I love the fact that it is organic. I am slowly converting all my friends and family to be Pur Minerals users. I HIGHLY recommend this product and many other Pur Minerals Products.

I was happy that I could actually find a match for my light olive skin tone. It was light and the finish wasn't too opaque. It also didn't look like you were too powdery, which was a definite plus.

This biggest issue i had with this product is finding the right shade, even the sales clerk had a hard time finding my match!! There aren't very many to choose from :( As a result, it makes my face look a bit whiter than usual. Contouring, bronzer, and blush are a must with this product!!! When this product is first applied, it can look a bit powdery on the face, but it might be due to the brush i used (which is not the chisel brush reccomended) however, the powderyness goes away after a few hours. Other than that, i love that this is a PRESSED mineral makeup, leading to less messes when applying makeup. It's also a lot easier to apply. However it does become mineral makeup-ey when you swirl your brush in it, but that's expected. It also provides great coverage after a few applications.
