Don't let the scary name fool you!

I was a little freaked out with gunpowder being part of the name... Not that I thought they used actual gunpowder in the tea.. I'm not that gullible, but I was expecting something really strong.. it was the complete opposite though. I dont think it had much of a taste, to me it just tasted like hot water and that was after it steeping for about 10 minutes. It did however, leave a weird aftertaste. It wasn't a horrible tea, but I have definitely had better. I would recommend this to people who aren't really tea drinkers. Thank you ChickAdvisor and Pure Leaf for sending me this for review.

Pure Leaf Gunpowder Green Tea Loose Long Leaf has a strong tea taste and actually helped kept me awake for the day. You would need a tea brewer for this, which I have previously, since the tea is loose. The leaves are not very refined, which makes it easier to sift when it's done. This one has a strong taste and I would tend to use this at home. I got this item for review #gotitfree

Pure Leaf Gunpowder Green Tea Loose Long Leaf tea was just what I needed to relax & unwind with after a few hectic Christmas days!

It was finally time for ME to relax & just sit by the fire, watch the snow fall & concentrate on the delicious, satisfying flavour of this tea.

This is a really flavourful, great tasting tea & I must also say that from the minute I opened up the jar, it just looked superior to any other green tea product I had been using.

This tea will definitely replace the brand I used to use, because the flavour is just so natural & satisfying. I can't recommend this product enough & have a few birthdays coming up so I think I will also supplement their gifts with this wonderful, loose leaf tea.

A good light tasting green tea. The tea tasted very fresh and I enjoyed every sip.

I tried the Pure Leaf gunpowder green tea loose long leaf tea for free for my review and honest opinion for chick advisor. This tea tasted good and not strong or bland. This is a good tea to relax and enjoy in the afternoon or any time of day. Definitely adding this tea to my tea collection.

This one tastes pretty good, even bought a tea steeper so I could bring it on the go, very clean tasting brew and green tea is just healthy, got this as a sample and it was the greatest

This is a really unique presentation for green tea. When I opened the box, I couldn't help but give the bottle a little shake to examine the loose-leaf pieces. The taste and presentation of this product are high quality, and it is easy to use. I can't help but think how impressive this would be as part of a homemade gift basket for the holidays! Pure Leaf Gunpowder Green Tea Loose Long Leaf is a tasty tea to use in many ways.

The first time I used the tea, I followed the instructions exactly. I was shocked at how little tea I put in the infuser and thought it was too little, but the leaves expanded enough to fill the infuser. Although I steeped it for the recommended 3 minutes, I found it pretty weak.

I found the tea pretty plain, but it was perfect when I chilled it and added it to smoothies.

I wonder about the effect of the tea being a plastic container and the sun over time. All other tea I own is not exposed to light, and I wonder if that exposure may lessen the flavor or make it stale.

I #gotitfree, but found it at Walmart for $8.47 which I think is on the pricey end.

Overall, I enjoy this tea and would recommend it, but would not purchase it for myself.

#gotitfree Gunpowder Green Loose Leaf Tea's packaging is right to the point and easy to read. The tea is loose leaf and therefore less packaging and less impact on our environment.. My first cup of tea i did not follow instruction and just filled up my tea container. Boy that tea was strong!!!!! The next cup i put in the right amount stated on the bottle instructions. I let the tea steep for the time that was suggested and 3 mins was just right as this tea is stronger then the Pure leaf Green tea with Jasmine. I liked this tea and possibly might purchase in the future. Thank you so much for this opportunity to try before I buy. :)

i receive this box for free..thanks you. the taste was not sweet .it is too strong for me . the jasmine tea is better. but it s ok for the price . the box is beautiful .
