Good On-the-Go Matcha

Pure Leaf's matcha tea is a decent-tasting tea. I tried it both as a latté with milk and sugar and just plain with water - both are enjoyable ways to have this matcha.

The tea itself is rather dark in colour compared to other matcha tea I tend to favour flavour-wise, but it doesn't taste bitter or unpleasantly grassy like some of the lower-grade matcha green teas I've had in the past. It whisks really well with a matcha whisk, and reasonably well with a fork. The individually wrapped tea sachets are great if you want to bring your matcha on the go.

Great Matcha

These pre-packaged Matcha make it easy to enjoy. Don't over heat the water and just add enough water to blend. It is a good quality product but kind of pricey for only 12. Matcha has its own unique, earthy taste but has great benefits. Make sure it is well blended. If you don't like Matcha hot - try it with a cold blend.

Super Conventient

I recently received Pure Leaf Pure Matcha tea sachets for product testing #gotitfree. The Matcha tea comes in single serve packets which are super convenient, as well as durable. This tea tastes comparable to higher end Matcha teas, but for the price and ability to easily take it with you I prefer Pure Leaf! It is super high in antioxidants and has a nice earthly taste to it. I liked the way it frothed and I also like to add a little bit of honey to it. If you're looking for a quick, easy, decently priced Matcha then this is definitely for you!

Make your own Matcha at home!

I'm a huge fan of matcha green tea and I've always wanted to make my own but didn't know how to really do it + gather all the necessary equipment used to make matcha. Pure leaf came out with the matcha sachets to make life easier and I enjoy them! It's easy to do and it almost tastes like the real thing. I do add vanilla almond milk to give it some sweetness and a little whipped cream cause, why not!! Definitely worth a try if you're into matcha green tea!

Great individual matcha packs

These individually wrapped matcha packs are fantastic ! To start, they are super durable in a purse, baby bag, gym bag, etc. anyone who wants matcha on the goes knows the struggle of just putting it into a bag , which usually sits in the closure and spills a little anywhere , or being punctured by a lip liner , water bottle, whatever lol! These packs lasted a week in a bag I use everyday with no breakage ! The product itself is very mild in taste, consistency is smooth, other than a couple lumps here and there, however, if you have a proper matcha whisk, this will be avoided all together ! Matcha sachets are perfect for on the go

Loved the taste, so did my hubby who enjoyed taking them to working and adding to a bottle of water. I prefer to have hot, and enjoyed a cup here and there. A great product and easy to use. I would buy again.

Great for the price

Belle surprise. J'adore les the au matcha et j'ai plus tendance à les acheter aux places à the en vrac pour une meilleure qualité et choix. Pour un produit grande surface c'est une belle surprise. Facile à apporter et à préparer sur le pouce. Le goût n'est pas trop amer. Toute la famille à apprecié meme mon père en visite après sa réticence à goûter de quoi de vert.

Good Tea

Pure Leaf Pure Matcha tea sachets

I was excited to try this one out, as I've never had matcha before. I wanted to try it because I have heard how good it is for you, and is very high in antioxidants. I like to drink my coffee, teas etc, without dairy and sweeteners, so drinking this plain was a little difficult for me. I found that it has a very earthy, "seaweed-ish" aroma to it that found hard to get around, even though it just tasted like regular tea. With sugar it was a little better, and with the addition of milk even more so. My preferred way was to dissolve it in a bit of hot water, and add steamed almond milk and honey. It tasted like a normal tea latte, and the earthy aroma was definitely muted this way.

Overall, I did like it. I would repurchase it for the health benefits of matcha tea, but would drink whenever I wanted a sweet treat. I would also recommend it to friends and family who are tea lovers.

The most portable easy to use matcha

I am pretty picky on matcha, I tend to get ceremonial matcha directly from japan. So while Pure Leaf isn't the best matcha $ can buy, you are getting at a grocery or drug store and it's only $7.99 to $8.99 (vs me normally spending $40-50 on a small tin when I got to Japan).

What do I think? Well it's definitely good portable matcha packets! The flavour is still matcha like. As a $8-$9 product it'll get the job done....and since when you are on the go, you aren't likely to be making matcha with quality water at the right temperature and using boiled tap water...it's a waste to use a higher grade anyways. So yes, good on the go, not something you would want to drink for quality or a tea ceremony, but fine for a tea latte and such where you can get away with lower quality.

Pure Leaf Pure Matcha Tea Sachets are individually wrapped and I find this so convenient! The quality is also great, as I like to drink it in the morning as a way to kickstart my day and wake me up! I'm also happy to be reaping the benefits of the antioxidants in green tea.
