Tasty Treat
Not normally am I a chocolate fan but these protein bars just hit the spot. I enjoy the little chocolate chips sprinkled inside as well as the chocolate shell. The texture of these bars is a little chalky (as expected of a protein bar) but I really just enjoy them. Pure Protein bars don't have great nutritional value, opting to use cheap forms of highly processed proteins, as well as alternative sweetners which spike bloodsugar among other things but can still none the less be enjoyed from occasion as a treat. If you are in the market for a lower calorie chocolate bar with a decent protein content this is for you.
Great price, pretty good tast
This is a pretty good protein bar if you're looking for something filling that doesn't break the bank. There is a bit of an aftertaste, but you get used to it. I like to keep these on hand for a quick boost or if I'm in a rush after a workout.
If your on a budget....
If your on a budget and are looking for a protein bar this one isn't bad. The price is right but unfortunately the taste leaves little to be desired. The taste was so bad I couldnt finish the bar. I gave some to my family and they ate it no problem so maybe it's just me but it's worth a try but unfortunately for me I will not be buying it again.
Really good protein bar
I have a very picky eater, and I find it difficult to get protein into him without him gagging, but this is one of the few protein bars that he will eat, and sometimes even ask for another!
Best price for quality protein bar
I keep these beside me in my desk at work. They are very filling and not very high carbs. The taste is pretty good and they are much better priced than comparable protein bars in the stores today.
Wont break the bank or the scale
One of the few protein bars that aren't loaded with an ungodly amount of sugar. The number of ingredients in these bars is minimal in comparison to most and keeps the sugar content low with only 3 grams of sugar per bar. A lot of protein bars come with much more than that and are almost equivalent to chocolate bars. I really like the taste of these bars however they may be too dense for some. I prefer denser and heavier foods so it works well with my taste. The price is reasonable if bought in bulk from a place like Cost Co and will run you less than $2 per bar. Quest may be considered top-tier but the price on those is just too high. Pure protein bars are the go-to.
Budget Protein Bars
These are a great option for budget protein bars. They have a high protein content for the amount of calories. Decent taste - actually better than what I was expecting for how much they cost.
very satisfying
I was lucky enough to find a box of these bars on for half price at Walmart. I thought that I was probably not going to like them, however I was so pleased with these protein bars, and found them to be so reasonably priced. There is no artificial, chalky taste, like many other protein bars currently on the market. They contain three grams of sugar, twenty one grams of protein, and one hundred eighty calories. These protein bars have a rich chocolate flavor, a fudgy texture, and are soft and chewy.
Not bad
This protein bar is pretty good on protein and sugar side but they add transfat and that's why I wouldn't buy it again. If you don't mind transfats, this bar overalll is pretty good.
Flavor and protein
Perfect as a lunch or after workout snack it’s protein but you won’t sacrifice the flavor which is amazing also with this brand you have a lot of variety
