This hand sanitizer is fantastic. I used to work as a cashier and had to constantly use hand sanitizer. I found the stuff we had at our tills was too strong, so I bought some of this. The aloe helps add a bit of moisture and masks the alcohol smell. It does its job and doesn't fully dry out your skin.
It's a typical hand sanitizer. Scented, but not overwhelmingly so, and effective in cleaning and sanitizing (as far as us non-scientists can know). It's not sticky and it doesn't have a weird vodka scent (though I'd prefer something more pleasant and less obvious that I'm using sanitizer), and though it's not as good as soap this is a great tool to take with you everywhere for occasions where soap isn't available.
I tried this at work the other day and really liked that the aloe eliminated a lot of the alcohol smell. The aloe also made my hands softer as the alcohol can really dry out my skin. Way to go Purell on combining your hand sanitizer with aloe!
I keep a travel-size bottle in my purse and glove compartment. I am confident in its sanitizing properties and appreciate that I can use it without fear of drying out my skin. I appreciate its light texture and scent and a little goes a long way.
I used this sanitizer all the time. I work with money so I am constantly using it. It doesn't dry the skin out at all and I don't get any redness like I do with most other sanitizers
I always have this sanitizer on hand. It's a great way to keep my hands clean quickly. The aloe keeps my hands from drying out and keeps them soft. It isn't harsh to the skin like other sanitary I've tried before. This is a great product.
Purell is basically the leading brand when it comes to hand sanitizers now, and because it's so affordable they pretty much got rid of the competition on the market. Hand santiziers help prevent the spread of germs in offices, clinics, schools and many other public places. The "Aloe" version is great because aloe helps with skin irritation and it also helps to get rid of the temporary "boozy" smell after you use the product. Many will complain that this product dries out their skin. That's because the active ingredient is 70% ethyl alcohol, that's what kills the bacteria, and complaining that it dries out your skin after using it frequently is like complaining that water is wet. If you're using it to the point where you're skin is dry or starting to get irritated, you might wanna cut back on the sanitizer and just use the old method of water + antibacterial soap, or invest in some moisturizer.
As a cashier in a busy store, I find this a must have. People coming through the cash register often have colds, flu, etc. and the worry factor for me is lessened when I know I can treat my hands with Purell in between customers. I also like to keep in on hand in my purse. I like to think that I am sick less often since I have been using this! My daughter is a teacher and is never without it. So handy when you are not able to wash your hands as often as you might like. I make a point of using it when I see it at the hospital, the dentist office and the doctors.
I think this is defiantly a very important product to have in my purse at all times and since becoming a mom this has only become even more important. Sometimes your not always able to wash your hands and these helps with any germs you might encounter.
I like to use hand sanitizer. It gives me satisfaction knowing that I have killed all the bad germs. The smell is not bothersome for me. I also like how it cools my hands when I rub them together.
