I received the Aztec Chipotle Flavour to try. I liked it. The product can be warmed up in the microwave directly in the bag or on the stove via boiling water, again directly in the bag. I warmed it up in the microwave and ate it right out of the bag during my lunch break. The taste was good. If you don't like spicy food at all, maybe this flavour isn't for you. I love spicy food so for me there was a slight kick to it. When I was eating it, it didn't look like the advertising picture. It looked like mostly rice and quinoa and not as much beans and corn. I really like the ingredients listed. It was all ingredients that I knew and can pronounce. This genuinely looks like a natural product. I would buy it again to try the other flavours.

Definitely buying again

One word: delicious.
My husband and I devoured this as a main dish and we loved it. Great taste and texture, has a kick to it which we loved and great ingredients. This will be a regular buy at my house.

Healthy and Delicious!

I received a package of Purgrains Aztec Chipotle flavor Ancient Grains for free to review through Chick Advisor. I was so excited to try this product. It was delicious!!! I was going to eat it as a side dish with chicken, but I honeslty didn't even need meat with it. It was so good, and very filling without leaving a heaviness in my stomach. I have to admit I ate the whole package and didn't share! It had a delicious mixture of Mexican inspired flavours. Sweet corn, spiced grains, and hearty beans. I will definately be purchasing this in the future for myself and my family. I highly reccomend it! When it is healthy and delicious, you can't go wrong!!

Enjoyed it

I really enjoyed this product! It was an easy side dish to prepare. The flavour was good with a bit of a kick at the end.
My kids tried it but unfortunately they found it too spicy so probably wouldn’t buy this flavour again.

We enjoyed this purgrains package. I thought my kids would have complained that it was too spicy but my 2 year old said it was "YUM YUM". Since it already included black beans as a protein, it was a great meal just with a salad.

We will definitely be trying the other flavours, it's already on our grocery list!

Too Spicy but no taste

This was too spicy for the kids and it was weird just because it was bland other than the spice. The mixed grains was nice though, made it with chicken and salad.

Repurchase

The rice was really good. It was very tasty and had loads of flavour in it. I was surprised with the taste as it was very rich. Not many ready to use packs are tasty.

It's pretty good!

This was pretty good! It's not the usual type of food that I eat, but it had great flavor and interesting texture. I think the value is fair for what you got.

Great taste and healthy

Tastes very delicious. Feels like eating a wholesome homemade dish. Super convenient, great for a workday. Only downside is the price is slightly on the higher end.

Great side to a meal

Thought this tasted great overall! Loved how the ingredients were all natural and no mysterious added ingredients. It was also very convenient to be able to just put it in the microwave and have it ready for dinner. Would recommend this product!
