Great with tacos

I mixed this with vegan meat and put it into tacos. It really added tons of flavour to the taco mix topped with salsa and grated cheese. It wasn't overly spicy.

Was an ok product

My husband and I tried this with our chicken tacos and it gave a nice taste to the tacos/burritos but I did not enjoy the taste on its own. I found it very spicy and the texture through me off when eating it on its own. I would recommend it to a friend to add to tacos/ burritos but I wouldnt recommend it on its own.

Delicious side dish

This was a great side dish. It was very easy to heat up and add it to a dish. The flavour was amazing. It smelled so good before I even got to eat it.

I just got the Pur Grains Aztec Chipotle Flavor and it was delicious, I recommend trying it, can't wait to try thevSantorini and the Thai flavors soon.

Pleasantly surprised

I'm pleasantly surprised how tasty this was for "packaged" food, but let's be clear it might be precooked and basically ready to eat but you still need to heat it for maximum YUM! Wasn't sure how this would turn out because it looked strangely dry from the package but you are supposed to add some water while heating and after a few mins it was ready to eat. It very fast and my husband who usually adds salt and pepper to everything didn't with this lol I even fed.this to my picky toddler and he loved it even more than his beloved white rice! I will definitely be a repeat buyer, a busy working family with a toddler needs some fast dinner options and this one is fast but also healthy and non GMO. Really loving everything about this product! Thanks chickadvisor

Tastes great and healthy

Trying this I was skeptical. I decided to do the stove top version I added just a bit of water and put it in a wrap with lettuce. My kids found it spicy, it's refrigerator safe thank goodness. Means more for me because I loved it. I feel like this is a healthier option rather than fries or rice as a normal side. Very flavourful not too dry and easy to make. Like extremely fast!

Tasty in a burrito!

Purgrains is an simple, satisfying meal. I heated it in the microwave and then used it to fill a soft tortilla and wrapped it burrito style. The Aztec flavor was a bit spicy but not overpowering. My only critique is that it seemed a bit dry and I would have liked a bit more sauce. Overall a great, easy lunch idea!

Bon au gout, pas trop épicé, intéressant mélange

Le riz est plutôt bon, avec un bon mélange de graines, ce qui le rend intéressant au goût. Cette sorte est pas trop épicée ce qui est parfait pour les enfants! Facile et rapide a préparer, donc tres pratique comme accompagnement au souper en semaine.
Seul bemol je dirait c'est un peu sec et le lendemain quand on a des restes, les graines ont tendence a durcir.

OMG!! The Purgrains Aztec Chipotle side dish is amazing! I tried it not really knowing what to expect, but was extremely pleasantly surprised how healthy, flavourful and easy to make this is. The Aztec Chipotle has the right amount of "kick" to it, making it delicious, but not spicy. Do yourself a favour and get it!! I will definitely be trying out the other 2 flavours.

A quick fix to add a side dish to your meals

I am always looking for new ways to add a healthy side dish to our meals, so when I was selected to try the Purgrains Aztec Chipolte I thought this would be a great solution. First, the packaging is great! I love how modern and colorful it is, you can tell the brand out some serious thought into how they wanted to present to their clientele base. The product itself is super simple to prepare. There is little to no work to get this from the packaging and onto your plate. I found it to be flavorful, not overly spicy but enough to give it a little "heat", and overall had a great balance of flavors. Looking forward to trying other varieties of this product :)
