Convenient side dish

I got Pur Grains Aztec Chipotle flavour for free from Chick Advisor.
It was very easy and quick to make it. The texture was good but the flavour was too strong and spicy for me. I prefer plain quinoa. I might buy the other flavours to try.

Nice change from the ordinary

Flavor was a bit strong and I wasn't a big fan of the texture. I also found the product a little dry. It was a nice flaver change from plain rice.I prefer a freshly made product instead.

Not for me

I received this product free to try from chick advisor . I did not like the texture nor the taste. The packaging is attractive and easy to open but the flavour was just not for my taste. I would prefer to make this from scratch .

Not bad

Was not a bad alternative, grainy, could use some more flavor. Was not the biggest fan but not against it. Better than plain rice. Would maybe recommend with other things.

Enjoyed the ease of making

I would purchase this again but in a different flavour.. I liked that it was easy to prepare and very quick to hear and serve.. just wasn’t crazy about the flavour

Great side dish

It was quick and easy to make, and I'm glad that we didn't have to add any water to it or use any dishes to make it. I didn't find it spicy, and felt that it could use a little bit more corn in the mixture. Good portion size for 2 people to eat as a side.

A salt lick, with a disconcerting smell - not worth it

Cute package. Convenient. Expensive. Smells awful. Tastes like salty cardboard. Would never buy again. I love quinoa and was excited to try it. So disappointed.

Not the product for me

I was excited to try out this sample but was very disappointed on the flavour. For me it's just too strong and I didn't like the flavour at all, the smell is also very strong something that I couldn't get over. But this product was very easy to reheat and I can tell that it is a high quality product with very healthy ingredients in it. But overall I wouldn't recommend this product and I wouldn't purchase it in the future.

Too Spicy but no taste

This was too spicy for the kids and it was weird just because it was bland other than the spice. The mixed grains was nice though, made it with chicken and salad.

Purgrains chipotle

I was mailed a sample for purgrains chipotle flavour. I was happy to see it was plant based. It was easy to prepare. The quality wasn’t great. It tasted okay. I got this for free. Thanks!
