Thank you @chickadvisor and @purgrains for the #ProductReviewClub opportunity to review Pur Grains Thai Garlic Chili Flavour Ancient Grain Side Dish. It’s made with quinoa, brown rice and farro, has no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives and is ready-to-make in 90 seconds. I opened the pouch and emptied the contents into a small pan, added two tablespoons of water and heated it up on the stovetop. Alternatively, the pouch can be microwaved. Additional ingredients include red bell pepper, onion, basil, ginger and lemongrass. I like the texture and taste and that it’s high fibre and has no cholesterol. Overall, it’s a bit too spicy for me and I will try another flavour to compare.

Great and healthier option for those quick meals

I was given this free product by chickadvisor in return for my honest reviews. We tried the Purgrains Thai Garlic chilli flavor and we have all the good things to say about it.
Very convenient to make as we just heated it on stovetop. I added some grilled chicken in the pan and added some chopped onions and a spicy sauce on top.
Its got all the goodness of grains, brown rice and has a rich flavor. Its a bit different textures for kids as they are used to having the processed and easy to chew food. However, my kids didn't reject it. We already bought the other 2 flavors as they come in handy for those super quick meals packed with goodness. Definitely recommend.

Delicious and convenient

I've always been a big fan of quinoa and liked the idea of a convenient and flavourful way of making it. The flavor was delicious a little spicy probably too much for my kids but I loved it. I loved how easy it was to make in a pan or microwave. It is also convenient for parents or persons eating solo as I am.

this one definitely has a bit of heat.

This is a really convenient snack or meal on the days you're pressed for time. It is healthy, plant based, and nutritious and it only takes 2 minutes to prepare. I do like that this ancient grain side dish does not lack flavor; it actually packs quite a punch and is a bit on the spicy side. The one drawback to this one is that it does contain 30% of you daily intake of sodium.

Don't be fooled, it tastes 100% better than it smells

This is a nutritious and delicious meal, would highly recommend for vegetarians looking to make up some protein in their diet! I was worried about the texture, but it's actually very pleasant, and the flavor full but not too spicy.

Yummy Grains

Delicious, and super yummy! Not too spicy either, and we have some super lightweights when it comes to spices. My family have really enjoyed this amazing side dish. We actively look for plant based side dish items to add to our dinner plans. I paired the Thai Garlic Chili Purgrains with some lovely basa fillets, and dinner was a huge hit with the whole family. My hubby, and kids are quite fussy eaters when it comes to trying new foods, and they love PurGrains. I will be purchasing more tomorrow on my weekly grocery run. Delicious and quick!

I really enjoyed this meal. It was really easy to prepare and great tasting, as well as nutritious! The texture was great and seasoning was amazing! I can’t wait to try the other flavours.

A great tasting and filling side dish

I loved this side dish. So easy to heat up and serve with some protein and a veggie. And the flavour is great. A little heat from the Thai chilies too! I love that this has multiple different grains. Is great as part of a filling meal on the go. This would be super easy to take to work too!

Really good!

I really enjoyed it! The flavour was great, I topped it with some seasoned sautéed veggies and black beans, made for a great meal. It’s definitely a lot more expensive to purchase premade rice/quinoa like this, but it is super convenient for making quick meals!

Delicious Side Dish!

I loved this! I received the Thai Garlic Chili flavour to try and I was super excited to try it! The flavour was delicious but not over powering. It paired well with tilapia and green beans. It was the perfect ride fish and my whole family loved it. It’s very quick to prepare and I will be adding it to our weekly shopping list!
