Quick-fix weeknight meal

These are great if your looking for something quick and convenient. Ready on the stovetop within a few minutes and served as a side with chicken. The taste was okay - nothing special. The portion was also less than I had expected. Would I buy this? Probably not.

I absolutely love this project! Super easy to heat up on the go and filled me up with just half! Great for an after-workout meal. Felt productive and ready to jumpstart the afternoon with this! I'll add some lettuce wraps and it tastes like heaven! Bought it in every flavour! recommend 10/10.

Overpowering flavours and mushy texture, would not recommend

The design is cute and the colours are vibrant. The concept was good and flavours are intriguing, I was excited to try it. Was hoping I can keep these at work for a quick lunch at times.

My husband and I were very disappointed with the texture and the taste, we each had a bite and that was it!

The texture was very mushy. We microwaved it, perhaps that didn't help the mushiness. I tried to fluff it up with a fork afterwards but it had the texture of extremely overcooked quinoa.

The smell and taste was way too overpowering. All you can smell and taste was cumin or chili powder...
Mine looked nothing like the photo on the bag it came out extremely saucy.

The size is perfect for a size or a breakfast. The convenience of being able to microwave for just 90 secs and it's ready is awesome for people on the go.

I definitely would not be purchasing and not recommending.

I really loved the flavour of this...a little spicy and lots of garlic! I enjoyed the grains..the texture was good..firm not too mushy. I wish the packets were a bit bigger and half more. there was enough for a small serving for 2 people. ..I would buy this again..fast to prepare and a nice change from rice.

Not for us

This is a great idea for a quick side but I found the taste a bit of a miss for us. At first I found it a bit bland but as I continued to eat it I found the chili peppers a touch overwhelming. It has an interesting texture. It was super quick to prepare- heated and placed within 3 minutes. I think heating it in a pan and adding more ingredients would make this more enjoyable.

Delicious side dish

It’s a very fulfilling side dish I must say,great on flavours and I added some fresh veggies and herbs to it and made it all the more exciting taste and binge on a movie night .

It's good a quick dinner

I quite liked this. It was super easy to make as I only put it in the microwave for 1.5 minutes and it came out piping hot. If you're now into using microwaves, it can be cooked in about the same amount of time on the stove. I also like the option of having something that is quick and easy to make. I can see this being a good option for flights attendants or anyone who packs their own food for overnight stays.

The flavour was good and not too salty which can sometimes be the problem with prepackaged food. I would recommend a try.

A unique take on ready-to-eat rice!

I liked that it wasn't regular rice. It makes a unique side dish, with many ingredients visible to the eye. The texture is not what I expected, and would likely change with the different preparation methods. It had a spicy kick to it. Obviously a bit of a "prepared" taste, but it's absolutely a step up for being such a quick and easy sidekick.

It needs improvement of the texture

Thanks for chosing me! I tried it the microwave way. I like that it is plant based. Its easy to use, quick and convenient, but the texture is a bit strange to me, it needs to be reconsidered. Its a bit spicy for my children but its fine for me. We might try others.

Pur grain ail et piment a la thaie

Je n’ai pas vraiment aimer ce produit. Bien que sa texture soit plutot habituelle, je ne peux pas dire que j’ai aimer la saveur. L’odeur tres forte m’a couper l’appetit. L’aspect vegetale du produit par contre est a considerer. Je crois que ca pourrait etre une bonne alternative comme accompagnement si j’essayais une autre saveur?
Il est par contre tres rapide a preparer et c’est un avantage
