Not best in taste but quick to make

Firstly, the ingredients are so good and nutritous and healthy. Packaging is good and easy to open.Taste is strong with a chilli flavor.You need to develop the taste to like it.The best part is easy to make in just like 90 sec on microwave or stove top and therefore can be a quick snack option.I made it on stovetop as instructed. I have different taste and didn't find it very tasty.But definitely one can give it a shot.

Quick and Healthy

I love that the ingredients of this quick and easy snack/meal was wholesome and pure. I also love how easy it was to prepare - I did it in the microwave in 90seconds as the package directed. The taste was mediocre and very one note and I wanted to like it more. I will definitely try out different flavours as I did really like the texture of the quinoa and grains in this.

I really enjoyed this meal. It was really easy to prepare and great tasting, as well as nutritious! The texture was great and seasoning was amazing! I can’t wait to try the other flavours.

A great tasting and filling side dish

I loved this side dish. So easy to heat up and serve with some protein and a veggie. And the flavour is great. A little heat from the Thai chilies too! I love that this has multiple different grains. Is great as part of a filling meal on the go. This would be super easy to take to work too!

It was different. I enjoyed the flavour

It had a pretty good taste and the texture was alright. It was definitely something different then I normally purchase but I would probably try this again. Perhaps in a different flavour 😊

Won't buy on my own

Not something I would spend my limited money on as I'd never had most of the ingredients before but did like the fact that it was a milder heat than I expected and worked really well with the rest of the meal

Not the best but edible for a quick side dish

I was really excited to try this product because I use a lot of rice with my meals. So thank you chick advisor and pur grains for the sampling opportunity.
I like the fact it’s made of brown rice and has quinoa added. It’s very easy and convenient to heat up. It actually has a pretty good aroma. However the taste was faint with a little sweetness. Not much garlic or Thai chili flavour. The texture was very mushy and I wasn’t a fan of that, it’s almost like baby food. If it had some texture it might have been alright, with a little more flavour added. I unfortunately would not buy this product. I saw it at Loblaws for 4$ and I don’t think it’s worth that as it’s not enough for two people even as a side dish. Sorry pur grains, I was really hoping this would have been a 5 star!

Fine if you're in a pinch

The taste is okay, slightly that processed taste as to be expected. It clumped up quite a bit but spread across a salad tasted better. One of the items to use when you're grabbing something last minute.

Love the Spice

I received Purgrains Thai Garlic Chili to test and give my honest opinion.
I love how cute and well detailed the packaging is. As the right amount of information and directions on how to prepare it. The colours make it attractive and fun to read.
I used the stove top opinion and it came out great. When I opened the pouch the smell was unpleasant. I noted the heat from the Chili but to be honest the garlic I couldn't detect. Overall a tasty product that i would indulge in again.
